A 5MB PDF is not large. If you have acrobat, you can reduce the file size, however. Each page of a PDF is like a photo, and a good quality copy will be large. Justin

Well, the NIV was written in 2011!

Ron - I think it would be great if ALL Logos users switched to Mac. Logos would be able to make Logos, well, more Mac like. I used to subscribe to the philosophy that if 90% of all software is developed for windows, I needed to be on a PC. Thankfully, like the prodigal son, I "came to" and realized that if I could get equivalent or better software on

Please? (Makes 5) I invision a day when FULL Logos functionality will be available through a web browser. Who would have thought 10 years ago we would be able to do what we do now?
-
I just graduated last week and am currently "mr. mom" while I look for a church. I am browsing the forums quite regularly. I am sure part of it is boredom. I have been in classes for four years and don't know what to do with myself... Hopefully a good church in Michigan will come along soon! Justin

Good suggestion, Jacob!

Larry - Can you give us an example of what you entered as a "value for Bible Places?" Also, can you give us a screen shot? Justin

Todd - The wiki page you directed me to says that there is two ways for me to register the product. Since Logos does not sell this package, will that cause a problem? Also, the second way mentioned is to use Logos 3. It is my understanding that Logos 3 is Windows only. Is there an alternate program for Mac? I noticed on the forum pages a program called

Todd - I am running Logos 4 for Mac. Everything is currently working fine. I was exploring my "account" on the website and noticed the ability to download individual files for my original purchase of the "scholars" package, as well as individual "add on's." However, my "upgrade" to "platinum" does not include individual downloads. Justin

sorry for asking so many questions... so the product is identical to what i would get with Logos? full functionality? if typos are fixed in the future, they get updated as well?
-
I assume that I would get a CD Rom for these resources. A con would be the lack of being able to re-download the files later if I loose the disc, correct?
-
I upgraded from "Scholars" to "Platinum" last week (once last chance at the academic discount ). Everything seems to be working fine. My question is actually about the "Downloadable Libronix Files" page in my account. Is there a reason that the individual files from the upgrade are not available to me to download? My "scholars" files are available to

Does it work in Logos 4? On Mac? I know the "Pro's" are the price, are there any "con's"?
-
Thanks Bradley.

Jared - ALONE WITH GOD is not (yet) available for portable devices. Notice on the product page, beneath the photo of the book, are icons notifying you which devices this resource will work on. If it works on iDevices (iPad; iPhone; iPod), an iPhone logo will appear. Compare the images below. Not all resources are available to users for all devices because

Me too!

I don't have that resource, sorry!
-
Sorry fgh - I do not seem to have the same troubles as you. I did check reading view, and the problem I noted exists there as well. I can, however, switch to all the column views. Highlighting is also working fine for me. Justin
-
Thomas - Thanks for pointing that out. The issue, however, is with the exegetical guide. It leaves out both 7&8 entirely. See my screen shot. Justin
-
Samuel - I can verify your bug. Can you add the prefix "BUG:" to your post so that the Logos folks can find it? Justin
