Based on my own experience on several computers, it really seems to me that something could be done to speed you up. I would add my voice to others that something can possibly done to make a difference. I would suggest getting started..first by uploading logs.

  • Curiosities of Dynamic Pricing

As nearly as I can tell, each of these packages contains exactly the same resources which I do not have, but at 3 different prices--apparently depending on the discount based on the value of resources which differs in each package. I get it. Just interesting and illustrates why spending a few minutes shopping could save a buck or two. Or in some cases

You don't want one like mine. It is so long that on my laptop computer, I can't even get a screenshot of it all.

Yup! That caught my eye. I am waiting till it trickles down to Verbum. I want to install it alongside Logos on a laptop without downloading GaZigaBytes of duplicate resources. Just the ones I want This is good news, with 9 years of oomph-goodness behind it.

  • Re: Logos. I give up.

Experiences may vary for many reasons. I have L8 on a Laptop HD. The computer is several years old, but pretty fast. Logos runs quite fast on it. I had a 10 year old Desktop that like the Children of Israel's shoes would not wear out. It was laggy. I bought a SSD and now, L8 almost screams on that machine. So both can work fine, but SSD's are seriously

  • Re: Question about Plagiarism

Ouch. Makes me think that I have thousands of pages of writing, teaching for other languages and cultures. Because of translation and culture differences I didn't worry much about giving credit for borrowed ideas and sometimes wordings, because my audience would never have any idea to whom or what I was referring. To do so would be meaningless to them

Years ago I was guilty of comparing the L4 experience to iTunes, But hey, back then it kind of was the same! While iTunes hasn't improved much, Logos certainly has. Good grief. I have L8 on 3 machines of various vintage and

  • Re: Prayers

I certainly agree that FaithLife could pay attention to our Prayers on the Homepage and help us all read more books faster by giving us a more accessible/useful Reading Plan--like we had until recently. I have Faith that Life at FaithLife will do so and our Homepage will be resurrected and live once again! Then we all shall rejoice evermore!

It is a useful and could help develop good habits. I especially like how the concordance is used 1) to list prepositions to show relationships in a passage and 2) for application, showing imperatives of a passage.

Informative and interesting video that portrays the gist of the book, which I just finished reading. Mark Ward does good work. The book certainly more detailed than the video, of course, and I strongly recommend the book. However, I thought the tones of the book and video were quite different. The book was enjoyable to read with humor, kindness, fairness
