• Re: Logos 8 Wishlist

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but it would be good to either fix the Find feature (Ctrl+F in Windows) in a resource tab, or remove it altogether. In the past I have noted on the forum that it does not work, and have been told that it is not designed to work properly on phrases (more than one word). But recently I have found repeatedly

I've had that experience too. the citation isn't correct. However, I normally use Zotero for anything more than sermon citations, so I haven't noticed so far.

It should not just take 3 s. You can pick which videos you download from where I indicated. You can also remove them afterwards from the same place. [/quote
Yes, you can. Go to the resource in the Logos app on the android device. Look up "book info" (click on the three doted icon in the top right corner). From the book info panel, click on media download to see a list of the video and pick those you want to download. I would think that most Android users would not want to download

  • Is it possible to download Mobile Ed videos to Android?

I've regularly had problems with Mobile Ed videos not loading. Today's problem seems to be server maintenance, but that doesn't account for the problems in the past when about 10% or more of the time there are problems (I have a great broadband and wifi connection though). Is it possible to download the Mobile Ed videos to an Android device to view

But you will have to re-create your layout without the CSB by opening Logos to a blank layout (hold CTRL key whilst starting in Windows). If it still crashes provide logs .
Thanks Dave. It's going now as it opened to a previously saved layout (not the one I last updated). If L7 keeps

  • Re: Notes section (footnotes) missing from 'A Hunger for God: Desiring God through Fasting and Prayer'
I believe when the general issue is brought up, FL has said that this is "as intended." The notes are within the resource itself by hovering over the footnote indicator (see below). This makes endnotes on par with footnotes. I agree, however, that having the notes listed at the end could be beneficial.
Thanks alabama24

  • Notes section (footnotes) missing from 'A Hunger for God: Desiring God through Fasting and Prayer'

Pages 214-224 are missing in the Logos version of 'A Hunger for God: Desiring God through Fasting and Prayer'. Thankfully, the full resource is available on line for free at http://cdn.desiringgod.org/pdf/books_hfg/hfg_all.pdf Could we please have the Notes section (footnotes) added to the resource within Logos? Thanks

The link above, and the publishing date for later this year, is for the Fortress Press publication of the book. However, it is already currently available in both hard copy and ebook (pdf) from its original publisher, Mohr Siebeck, dated 2016 (although it is much more expensive than the forthcoming Fortress Press version). https://www.mohr.de/en/book

Pieter, thank you once again. This is a great script. Love it. Thanks for your hard work on it. I hope others find it helpful too for working in Word or any other Windows based program.
That's a great idea. I discovered the bug and it seems to be a bit beyond my range of knowledge of ahk. This restrickt me in validating the variable

Hi Pieter, I was having a little difficulty using this the other day. Sometimes it came up with the error "Your selection doesn't seem to be a Bible Reference" when what was highlighted was clearly a Bible verse. At other times it simply didn't do anything. Logos was running each time I tried this. I wonder, is there a program startup sequence which
