• Re: Automate 'replace with passage' in Word Add-in using keyboard shortcut?
Hi John, I'm so glad that I could help out. I decided to optimize the script for you, never thought it would be useful to someone else, therefore never improved on it. The script is now more readable and replacement is much faster, almost immediately. You can also easily define your own Hotkey for each function - see the section
Using: Windows 10 64 Word 2013 64 Logos 6
Nelson, the smart tags only work for Microsoft Word 32-bit version. There is no significant advantage for using the 64 bit version, other than for a few things such as using very, very large spreadsheets in Excel. Most add-ins for Word do not work on the 64 bit version, but only

I too have had crashes for several weeks now, having to open Logos two or even three times on about a third of the times I open the program! There have been a few updates in that period too, so I don't think it is down to the latest version.

  • Re: References in Sermon Editor

Hi Michael, I've noted somewhere else a workaround for this. It is not elegant, but works. It is to create a heading section at the end of your document, and put the reference information there. Use a square bracket numbering system e.g. [1] at both the 'endnote' and the quotation locations. It's not ideal, though, since you cannot see the author name

  • Re: How do you organize your commentaries?
If you rate your commentaries, you could also limit your passage guide to just commentaries rated 4 or 5 stars, which is a really helpful way of cutting down the fluff. You can combine that with the classification above by creating a new collection of commentaries with 0-3 stars, and then creating new collections for each classification

  • Re: How do I get multiple things on a slide in the Sermon Editor?

I've found this too. Entering a line break with shift+return instead of return didn't work either, although it does in many applications. I think entering line breaks within a slide would allow for more control over the text wrapping, which would be useful for a few reasons, such as allowing the text to be larger with shorter lines, adding line breaks
Has anyone found a way to know when you have a slide versus other comments you might make? For example, in a Sunday School I may quote an author and want that in a slide but my comments later would not be quoted. Is it using the H1, H2, etc. for all of this? I am currently adding a line Advance Slide before a new slide and
Note at the bottom on the header information is a Private Notes area with the instructions "Put additional cataloging information here". That is the current solution for data not included but required for backward compatibility - place and date, for example.
Thanks MJ. I've been trying that, although it's a bit cluttered

  • Re: Cannot add desired key topics to Sermon Editor

Thanks for your detailed screenshot, Jacob. I've been coming from the point of view that Sermon Editor is a replacement, a much better one, for the sermon personal book file. I have to get used to the idea that I cannot navigate or search by topic in Sermon Editor like I was able to in the personal book. Would mytags be an option to consider here?
I still footnote everything I type, even if it will never be published. When I take a direct quote from a source I can copy and paste, and a link is created and voilà I have the essence of a footnote. BUT When I take an idea from a source and wish to acknowledge it, there is currently no way I can find to include a footnote

  • Cannot add desired key topics to Sermon Editor

I was trying out the sermon editor, and wanted to add the key topic 'Church' on the sermon info, but could not. There is a predefined list of topics, and that doesn't appear. More importantly, as well as many common topics which could be added, there will be topics which are specific to our ministry (culture, context, etc.) which will never appear on
