L3 displayed a color for the season and a color specific to the celebration. This was eliminated as it seemed either redundant (where they were the same) or confusing (where they weren't the same). Damian, Thanks for the clarification. I'm familiar with Fr. Just's site, but haven't specifically reviewed his information on regional differences. I mainly had calendar and translation differences in mind, but the adjustments to the selections made by the US bishops would, of course, make our data specifically American at those points.
