• Problems With Text Comparison Panel--And A Suggestion

I have both a problem and a suggestion concerning the Text Comparison panel. The problem is that the TC Panel occasionally remains on the screen even when you leave the main PG view And it stays on the screen when transitioning to other views... When you launch the PG to study a passage, the default view depicts the panel with numerous choices. I have

  • Re: Biblical People - Elijah for instance

As an American and loyal Logos fan, let me throw in my two cents on this. I have been a Logos user since the late 90's, and I intend to continue to be. But having said this, I must confess that I do understand the frustration Mike Binks is expressing in his posts and, having read a number of his posts, I think you would agree that he has not come across

  • Re: More Problems With Hovering Over Hyperlinks

Dear Devs, I've waited a few days now, but haven't heard anything about this from anyone. All I am asking is this---is there a known issue with hovering over hyperlinks and getting a flashing preview box, or hovering over a link and getting nothing at all? Thanks, BJC

  • Re: At 27 Alphas how many more before we get a Beta label?

Does anyone know when the Omega version will be ready? Relax. I'm just kidding. Actually, I am directing a Christian camp for teens this week, and there is no wi-fi. This is torture to know that Beta is so close to my Mac and yet so far!

  • Re: Two Bugs

Jeremy, I went to check my collections to see if I might have the same problem. For some reason, it is working just fine with me. I am using 4.0b Beta, so I don't know if that is what is making the difference or not. I know it must be frustrating for you.

Tom, In your earlier post, you said you were not trying to be curt. Were you trying to be curt this time?

  • Re: Can I Set Prayer List to Open Automatically?
If you open a prayer list and give it a name that name should be on the 'Customize' list
Thanks, Mike. I do have a prayer life, but I had never gotten around to using the feature in L4M. As soon as I created a prayer list, it showed up on the ribbon and in the customize home page section.

  • Re: An Open Plea To The Powers That Be---Please Revise Biblical Places!

Personally, I would be all for it, just as long as it gives the opportunity for a full and uncluttered view of the map. The only reason I suggested "collapsing the panels" is that this method seems to be more and more fashionable, as I have evidenced in the very first post in this thread. However, I am not wedded to this as the only method. I'll press

Allen, I don't think we are missing the forest for the trees. I think you are missing the answers to your questions for the emotions and frustrations you are feeling right now. I can understand how frustrating it must be for you. I'm sure you feel like others in the forum don't understand your level of frustration. Therefore, any comment that appears

  • Reindexing Required for Beta 6 or New Resources?

    1. I downloaded and installed Beta 6 2. Approx one minute after launch, Logos icon started bouncing in dock informing me that new resources were ready to be installed. 3. I have a number of pre-pub orders pending, but i checked and I could not find any of them that were ready for delivery today. 4. Blue icon in upper menubar started with 6 hours of

  • Re: What is going on?

Allen, If you go back and read the other posts, I think you will discover that your two questions were answered. They may not have been answered with the answers you were looking for, but I do believe that other members of the forum took the time to at least try to answer your questions. Anyway, I don't want to rankle you. I suppose we could debate

  • Re: Reindexing Required for Beta 6 or New Resources?

Indexing has completed, and I still have the same number of resources as before, so I'm assuming that a resource I already own was corrected and then downloaded to overwrite the erroneous copy. Maybe I've missed this, but is there a way to find out which resources have just been installed? Thanks.
Excellent suggestion, and wondefully illustrated!
Thanks.
I second Mark's comment about not posting multiple times. The Suggestion forum is the best place for this, and it's best to get a single discussion going about it to raise the importance of this to Logos's attention. Also, I'm not

  • Re: A Plea To The Powers That Be---Please Revise Biblical Places

No worries! There is no way you can remember all the suggestions that have been made, so I don't fault you for that at all. You gave me an excellent idea for how I could insert a link into a UserVoice suggestion that would enable the forum reader to go elsewhere and read and see a more detailed post. I am aware of Reading View. In fact, several of the

  • Command For Presentation Mode Launches iTunes

I have been anxiously awaiting the Presentation Mode on L4M. However, when I push CMD-F8, my MacBook Pro launches iTunes every time. I know there is a way to change Keyboard Shortcuts. I have gone to System Preferences>Keyboard>Keyboard Shortcuts, and have looked through every menu. Oddly, no applications are listed as having shortcuts. The F8 button

  • An Open Plea To The Powers That Be---Please Revise Biblical Places!

I absolutely love Logos 4. I have been a loyal Logos customer since the early, early days. The program is so versatile, and improving all the time. One thing I have always appreciated is the openness to customer suggestions on the part of Bob Pritchett and others at Logos. With this in mind, I am sending this to numerous Logos forums, hoping that my

  • New Resource Installed, But Number of Resources Remains The Same

I know that the ESV Study Bible is supposed to be available today. Last night I downloaded an update of 539 megs. Then a separate update of 422 mbs began, but never did finish. This morning, I was able to download the entire 422 mb, the Logos icon started bouncing in the dock, and I was alerted that new resources were ready to install. I clicked to
