• Re: Logos 6 has Stopped Working

These files were just found last night. I know of no others. I just assumed they were created automatically when it crashed, I did not enable tracking or anything. What needs to be done to get the ones needed? Michael

  • Logos 6 has Stopped Working

Logos 6 has recently started crashing on start-up. This happens regardless whether I try to work offline or sign in normally. I have uninstalled Logos 6 and reinstalled to no avail. I have zipped the log files and attached them. Michael

  • Re: Need Search Help

Thanks David. While that didn't work, I suspect the two weren't near enough. I tried this with some words I knew to be near Albion and they found them. I wonder though, just how near is NEAR in the search criteria? Also I did find what I was looking for by doing a search for Albion in the writings of E. G. White. Thanks, Michael

  • Need Search Help

Several years ago I came across some mention of Seventh Day Adventist activity near the town of Albion in Wisconsin. I would like some help developing a search of my Seventh Day Adventist Collection to see if there I any mention there. I'm on a Genealogical quest and I am getting to many hits Michael

Alabama24, Thanks for the quick reply. Due to operator head space, that emptiness between the ears, I had created about 12 Collection name "My Personal Book Collection". Michael

I later installed Logos 6 Core on both Desktop and Notebook. When I launch Loos 6 and open PBB from the Tools menu I see a list of my previously compiled books but none of them will open, each one telling me that I don't have a valid license to view this resource. I realize that I can't Edit

Every personal book I build on one computer has to be rebuilt on the other computer to be read. I have to keep a flashdrive of my PB files to build every time I change computers. Is that normal or am I missing something?
Again, the metadata (author, title, etc.) has ALWAYS synced. Stanton, I am having a somewhat similar problem. I had Logos 5 and Windows 7 on both my Desktop and Notebook. I compiled a number of PB on my Desktop and they all compiled and opened ok. I could see them listed as Personal Books on my Notebook but never tried to open them there. A while back I upgraded both to Windows 10 Technical preview. In the process

I did compile the books with the errors all on this same computer back when I had Windows 7 Professional. I have Windows 10 Technicle Preview on it now. It looks as if something didn't make the transition when I went from 7 to 10. Michael

I just compiled a book which appears to have compiled succesfully and the book opens correctly. Only see the problem on books compiled using Logos 5 and always tells me I don't have a license to use this resource. Michael

I have Logos 6, Windows 10 Technical Preview, and all Personal Books were compiled on my Desktop using Logos and Windows 7 at the time. When I click Edit I get the yellow triangle saying that the files cannot be found. I think I may have found the problem though. I am using the Logos 6 core program right now, just recently got out of the hospital and

  • Personal Book Problem I Obviosly Created

Over the past year or so I have seen a number of Personal Book Resource Files on the Files section of the Logos/forums. I have downloaded them in to a sub directory of desktop into my documents folder. I name it "My Personal Book Resource Files" and compiled my books from there. Worked great. My problem began when I mistakenly assumed (My Problem #1

  • Home Screen Question

I haven.t been on Logos 6 for a while do to illness but when I went on today and switched to the home screen I noticed it had changed. In the past, when I went to the home screen to read my news, excerpts, etc. and it wouldn't all fit on a page, at the lower right it would say something like 1 of 6 or the likes and you could switch to the next page

Yes, I am allowing indexing every time. I am seeing this on both my desktop (Gateway) and my HP Notebook. I am running Windows 10 Technical Preview on both. Was working ok until I loaded Logos 6 on both machines. Michael
