  • Re: Proclaim Remote via Bluetooth?

Yes, I know this is a problem, but I'm standing about 15 feet from the router when I preach and I have all the bars. But the iPad loses the signal even though my phone and computer have a full signal. I don't know that Proclaim can do anything about that, but that's why I'm asking for Bluetooth connectivity. I know some people need wifi to change things

OK, I found a photo of what I get every Sunday. Usually, this happens at least 3 times in the service and I can't continue on. Pressing OK does nothing that helps. It just pops up again.

I'm trying to remember the exact wordage. Basically, While I'm trying to go from one slide to the next on the iPad, a white box comes up saying something like "Unable to continue to next slide" or "lost signal", something like that and then there's a spinning graphic. The only way to get out of it is to quit the Proclaim remote on the iPad and restart

  • Re: Proclaim Remote via Bluetooth?

Yes, I tried it this morning and I had high hopes as it started off well and then in the middle of the worship it died and I had to go to the computer to continue moving the slides along. During our greeting time I had a moment to reset everything once more and I lost connection during my sermon, having to make me stop, go to paper notes, find my place

  • Re: Proclaim Remote via Bluetooth?

I wish it did. I'm going to have to abandon Proclaim for Keynote. It loses connection every single week, making me have to reboot or go to paper notes. (I use the iPad with notes as my remote.) But after weekly break downs, I just don't think I can keep doing this to my congregation. Too bad, I like it a lot, but the iPad cannot keep a connection to

  • Proclaim not syncing between to computers

I've always been able to sync between my two Mac Book Pros. My worship leader inputs all the songs and videos and when I open my Mac, they are just there. This week nothing makes them sync. I can see the new songs online, but not on my Mac, which I use with the church projector. I called customer support and she couldn't help me. I even uninstalled

  • Bible Text Animations

I see several of these Bible Text Animations on Youtube. They seem to imply that you can make these from within Proclaim, which would be fantastic, but I see no way to do that and I can't find any information about how to actually make them. Here's one I'm referring to. https://youtu.be/yBOw2Yp2JOo Can I actually make these in Proclaim or are they using

  • Proclaim Splash Screen

On a Mac, if you press Command L you will get the Proclaim splash screen to allow you to fix something. But I'd like to replace that with our church logo or an announcement etc. Is there a way to change it?

  • Re: Why are not User Manuals Free?

Add me to the list of those who want a manual. Someone just needs to make a PDF file on using Logos and all its functions. The program is not at all intuitive and I'm sure many are not using it to its full potential. I have the Morris Proctor DVDs. I paid a lot of money for them. But I just don't learn that well by videos. I don't retain it well. A

  • Re: Personal Book Builder

I just checked and Pages only can save to .doc, not dock. For those of us who don't use Word, I guess we're in a bind here. Would be easier if it were just .doc since so many Mac programs can save to that.

  • Re: Compatibility L4 Mac with OSX Lion..RoaringApps says it has not been tested yet..?!

I just downloaded Lion and opened Logos first thing. Had to wait while it loaded some resources. After that it is working great. I don't notice it running slower. Everything I've tried has worked. The scrolling is fine for me too. Actually, on a laptop the scrolling is gone and you use your fingers, but seems quite fast on my Macbook Pro.

  • Re: Prices on Morris Proctor-200.00 price tag!

I bought the DVDs because I didn't have the time to go to a Camp Logos and I knew that if I did, I'd probably forget a lot of it when I came home. I figured having instant access to the DVDs whenever I needed them would be better for me. I am so glad I went that route. I learned so much. I wasn't using 90% of the capabilities of Logos before. And, I

  • Upgrade- Scholar's Library: Silver (LE) to Scholar's Library: Silver (KF)

I just received my upgrade today, though it appears it has been out quite a while. Is there anywhere I can see what the new resources are? I can't find any references to what the upgrade is about. I'm not sure if they mean additional books by upgrade or something else. Bob

  • Favorites and subfolders

I'm trying to organize my Favorites. I decided to make A-Z folders as a start. I accidentally dropped the N folder into the M folder. Now I can't get it out. Every time I try to move a folder, it drops into another folder instead of going between them. Any easy solution to getting them to behave?

Hmmm, I tried the copy Bible verse feature, but it brought up the Online Bible, which I don't even have anymore. It was just blank. How do I get it to switch over to Logos instead?

Same problem here. I tried to search for abomination desolation and it crashed every time. If I searched for just one word, it worked fine, but my search result was much more difficult to use because there were so many more references to go through that had nothing to do with what I was looking for.

  • Re: Printing notes

Well, we are more than half way through August and we still can't print. I didn't even know Logos 4 couldn't print until a few hours ago when I went to print something. LOL. I had watched a video here on sermon preparation with the notes feature and thought I'd give it a shot following his methods and now it's Saturday and I can't print my work. Really

I have the same question. I marked a sermon contributor as a favorite because I wanted to come back and read more of his works and now I see no where to access that information. Where is it stored? Thanks, Bob
