Rodney, While investigating the problems you described I noticed that your presentation from Sunday was edited 21 times while it was On Air. Actions like reordering, adding, removing and editing service items while On Air could cause some of the issues you describe. Each time the presentation is changed the remote needs to download the latest revision

Proclaim already supports universal presentation remote controllers. These emulate keyboard presses wirelessly. This is a good option for environments without reliable internet service or as a backup to the Proclaim Remote. I would suggest if you feel strongly about this feature to give it a vote on UserVoice. If you upgraded to the new Windows version between the window of 8am-10:30am PST on Monday you will see the issue you described. We have resolved the issue but unless you have removed the old version of Proclaim you will not be prompted to upgrade automatically. However, if you want to take care of it manually you can uninstall Proclaim using add/remove

Thank you for pointing out the issue with foreground images being layered on top of slide text. We will fix that in our next release. Although using an Image Slideshow will work I think it is simpler to change the background on the Content service item. See the screenshot below.
