• Android OS 2.3.x and 3.x support is ending soon

The Android Reader Suite v4.4+ apps will require Android OS 4.0 and higher. Current Android Reader Suite v4.3 apps will continue to support Android OS 2.3/3.x devices for a while longer, but only for critical bug fixes and will not receive new features. Android 2.3 and 3.x were released over three years ago and are in use by a small percentage of users

  • Re: Why do downloaded resources seem to access the internet?
Right now if I download a resource (e.g. the NASB95), and then disconnect the internet I can browse and read as I wish. BUT if I have a downloaded resource and the internet is still connected I get delays.
Performance improvements are very important to us, specifically at this time. When you experience a significant delay

  • Re: Highlighting
I was wondering how to make it such that the bible text isn't always permenantly highlighted every time a word is selected? For example everytime i touch a word it will apply a highlight that then stays afterwards? How can i switch this off so that it no longer does this? I believe i may be "stuck" in highlighting mode and

  • Re: text jumps

If you are looking at the book text, swipe down. The first icon to the right of the title/chapter text should look like four rows of different length lines. Tap that to open the books table of contents. If all you see to the right of the title/chapter text are three vertical squares, tap that button and the Table of Contents will be the first option

  • Re: conflicting signature on install of 166 over 162

David, The easiest solution is going to be to uninstall the app and reinstall via Amazon Appstore. Could you provide some more details regarding the app install / update history. Specifically, How/when did you originally install the app? Has it upgraded successfully in the past? Did you ever switch between install locations (installing via the Amazon

For straight Bible references it doesn't do that but if it has an "f." or "ff." (e.g., Mark 10:42ff .), it also says "not available" until I activate a connection.
This should work, so I'll write up a case for our dev team.
This will be fixed in the next beta. • Re: Omit advert screen

The home screen does include news and app specific blog posts and some of these news messages and/or blog posts include suggested resources you may or may not have access to. On each of the messages there is an option to hide it from the home screen if you don't want to see it. You can hide the message without viewing the full content by tapping on

  • Re: Thank you Logos team for the new update!

Thanks so much for those kind words! I'm so glad you are enjoying the app. The best way you can help us continue to advance the Android app is by sharing the app with your friends as well as sharing your feedback in the form of a review and rating in the Google Play store . Happy Thanksgiving!
I am able to run logos on the BB Z10. Anyone else?
You are able to run it or are not? The last time I checked Blackberry's Android emulation layer did not support our apps. At this time we do not offer support for Blackberry devices using the Android apps.

We're working on a fix for this Android 4.4 specific issue and it will be available in our next beta. We're also considering deploying a 4.4 specific app update to the Google Play store.
Let me add my voice to the push for Logos on Fire HDX - if you are looking to gather "names" to send Amazon, add me to them!!!
Lathan, Contacting Amazon Kindle support and requesting whichever app you are using be made available via the Kindle Fire HDX store would probably have the biggest impact.

  • Re: Failed downloads: explanations please

First thing I would check is whether or not you have enough free space on your device. Do you have any notifications warning about low disk space? Another way that we can better help you is by sending us additional support information after the app crash occurs. You can do this by opening the Tools / About page then tapping on the Send support email
Logos really needs to add this. Would benefit users, relieve stress on their servers as we can save all of our downloaded stuff instead of re-downloading if we ever re-flash the rom or get a new device.
We would love too. Unfortunately Android does not currently provide an API to definitely access SD Card locations

I'm sorry. I may have misread your request to be for the text critical marks as was identified in this forum post . These marks did not render properly in the NA27 resource until the latest 2.6.6 beta.

  • Re: parsing when offline

You can get the greek parsing symbols in the NA27 resource now by downloading and installing the relevant beta app from the links posted in the 2.6.6 beta announcement . If installing beta software isn't your thing this update should be posted in Google Play/Amazon app stores sometime next week.
