• Re: Sorting Notes in Notebook

Good response and question, Jim!! I look forward to an answer, which will be forthcoming. Personally, I wish we could sort by Reference regardless of which Notebook we are working in, but that is just my opinion. Looking forward to a response to your post.

Hi David, the video in the link shows the sorting being done in the Filter, but not in the Notebooks. When I am working in Notes I nearly always work in a Notebook and that is where I want to Sort by Reference. Thanks again, for your response.

  • Sortin Notes in Notebook

I'm curious as to why we cannot sort our notes in a Notebook by Reference? I realize if we are making notes in a Book of the Bible we can sort by Reference. Since that is so, why is by Reference greyed out in a Notebook? Usually, my Notebooks are based on a Book of the Bible and I would like very much to sort by Reference.

  • Re: Creating Slides in Sermon Editor
I concur that outline format is a challenge. My workaround is to NOT use the Roman Numerals for main points. I simply identify them as Heading 1 or Heading 2 (depending upon the symmetry of my outline) and use the Arabic numerals or alphabet on the "normal" paragraph style and indent accordingly. This means that I frequently

  • Creating Slides in Sermon Editor

I usually create my sermon in Word and then copy/paste into Sermon Editor. I follow the usually outline formatting like: I. Roman Numeral 1. Arabic Numerals 2. 3. etc., etc. I'm having a problem when I create my slides. The slides for levels using the roman numerals create just fine, I., II., III. etc.. When I create slides for the Arabic numeral levels

  • Re: What happened to the context menu?!

Aaron, Something you might find really helpful, at least I did. Open your preferred Bible and your Bible Word Study Guide Set them both to Link Set A. Then click on the word in your Bible and the guide will open to that Gk/Hb word and you will have your Lexicons along with translation wheels, etc. Just a thought.

Thanks, I just sent the Logs off. Maybe they can also tell why ever action in Logos seems to be soooo slow. I can click a tab, or resource and it takes forever to open or change. Thanks for your help.

  • Logos closes unexpectedly

Logos installed is: 8.7 SR-2 8.7.0.0042 When I finish with a layout that may have several panels open and click on Close All Panels Logos closes. Is this a known issue, or are there steps I can take to keep this from happening.

  • Re: Reading Plan Card won't stay on Home Page

Hi Dave, The M'Cheyne reading list was in my Logos reading plans. It covers a year of reading and I am using the NKJV. Also, I just started 8/1/2019. The reading begins with January, but it says it can be started at any time. Not sure I gave you the answers you were wanting about "From where?" If you need more info I'll try to provide it. Thanks for

Joe, I did as you suggested and updated Windows 10, took a really long time. Still has the same problem. Could it have anything to do with the M'Cheyne Reading Plan? It is one I loaded from those available. I have another reading plan I created for "The Holiness of God" by Sproul. I can open it and then close it and the card is still there ready for

  • Reading Plan Card won't stay on Home Page

Have not had this happen before: I just created the M'Cheyne Reading Plan and added the card to my Home Page. Looks good so far, and when I click on it the days reading opens as it should. But, when I go back to the Home Page the card is gone. Any idea why this is happening? I have gone through those steps several times. Puzzling since I never had this

Eureka!! I was reading another forum and discovered how to share a Notebook. So, this is my attempt to do that. I'm posting the link that was formed in the box, let's see now... https://fl.vu/Yg2y4 Please let me know if this works and you get all 15 notes in the notebook.

  • Re: Old notes file containing study method for expository studies

Hi Armin, I remembered the note you mention, so I did a search in my Notes file and found the Notebook with that name. The only thing it is no longer a single note, but divided up into 15 notes making up the Notebook. A "Mary-Ellen" is the person who did the revision. She is mentioned by name in a couple of the notes and identifies herself simply as
You are likely seeing something called popular highlights. You can turn that off in the Visual Filters menu. That is the three dots that form a triangle in the resource pane
Thanks, Fred, that did the trick. • Removing user highlights from resources

Well, I've done all the searches I can come up with and it seems no one has asked this question. How do I remove the highlight underscores in resources? These are not my highlight, but highlights that show how many have highlighted that particular area of text. They are distracting to me when I'm reading. I'm glad folks have found those areas important

  • Workflow and Notes

Is there a way to have the Notes created in a Workflow posted in the Bible Book Notebook of the passage I am working on? This may not be very clear. I'm working on a passage in 1 Peter through the Expository Sermon Preparation Workflow. However, I don't want the notes in an Expository Sermon Preparation Notebook, I want them in the 1 Peter Notebook
