As I understand it, we're just waiting for the discs to come back from the replicator. We're done (the team pulled at least one all-nighter to hit the schedule!) but now it's down to "when the discs come back." Sorry for the delay!
Wow, thanks for the reply Bob! Good to know why though. I wondered if you were delaying

I should add, the lack of affordability isn't the main point to what I'm getting at (although fair point, Mark). The main point here is that if Logos were really serious about the training, the price wouldn't go anywhere near triple the price it is right now.
Joel, I'm not picking a fight but that

Many thanks to everyone. I purchased them last night after speaking with Dave! This morning when I went to my computer they were there waiting for me. I got a really good price which, from memory, ends up being cheaper than they were during pre-pub because the aussie dollar is so good against the US dollar at the moment. Happy chappy I am, yes!
-
I might try tomorrow...If I wait until Xmas the dollar will have worked out that it shouldn't bet that high against the US dollar! ;)

Rosie and Tom, thank you. I will give them a call this morning. Timezones make it hard beacause they are open while I sleep! Cheers!

Nice reply! However, I don't "startup" from the HP so that it isn't an issue. When I did what you suggested re. passage guide, it only began a new passage guide. I am looking for exactly the same result I would get from using the "go" button on the front page. Does that make sense?
-
If I set up a "Layout" do I just link everything back to the passage guide?

There isn't a Greek or Hebrew lecturer in the world who would say "It's too late"....It is NEVER too late!
Here is a link for Keener's The Gospel of John
Nice, I wonder how many points that will earn you!

Mike I have yet to receive my copy (I'm in Australia) but I must admit I am becoming very worried about the quality of these DVDs. The marketing told me that they were HD and as such I expect that the quality will be top shelf! Now I hear that there are audio issues, issues with teh DVDs themselves, they come without packaging and the editing of the
The problem I have with all of this is, the difference in what is advertised and what is delivered. I really hope that Logos fixes these errors and provides updated DVDS free of charge (I paid for error free DVDS). I understand that it may be difficult to do something different than they have done in the past and all, but
My problem is motivation and retention....not a lack of materials :)
Same! Mounce's book is good to work through with the workbook. I also use Duff's "The Elements of NT Greek. I had a Labrador that helped me study Greek originally. Smartest NT Dog Scholar there was. Now my son is an avid learner...he might only be
It appears that many of the changes simply incorporates the TNIV translation: http://www.slowley.com/niv2011_comparison/most_changed_verses.html
It does but as I noticed this morning it also reverts to the original 84 version at many points also.

I am preparing a sermon on Psalm 51 and when I went to look at verse 17 in the exegetical guide I noticed that the guide stopped at verse 14 even though the whole of Psalm 51 was set. Is this limited exegetical guide normal? I can't remember ever having this problem before.

I received the same email as Rosie. Maybe international customers are getting different emails (I think Rosie is in Canada?) How hard is it to get a clarification from Logos?
-
With the release date for the dvds fast approaching I'd really appreciate an answer from logos! I think the difference is the length of each dvd (based on the blurbs) but I'd like to be sure!

Ever since installing Snow Leopard and downloading update 1.2.2 my exegetical guide has been running extremely slowly. Yesterday it took over 50 minutes to parse Philippians 3:4-14. Occasionaly it also appears to freeze. I have emptied my cache folder as suggested by Logos but it has not made any difference. Is anyone else experiencing a similar problem
-
C'mon - surely someone else is having this difficulty?

HERE, HERE!

For what it is worth I have to agree with Colin's frustration. Sorry Bob and the Logos team, you did promise a better Mac version than you delivered thus far. We paid $60 for the mac engine which does not work properly with Snow Leopard and the help desk cannot help me fix that problem leaving me with an almost unusable product! Why can't Logos fix
