  • Re: Print books are cheaper

[quote user="Matt Adams"] I've been a Logos user for about twenty years. There are some truly awesome features in the software, and I own about 5,000 volumes in my logos library. I just finished paying off my Logos 6, and now Logos 7 offers a new payment plan. Even if I don't add any books, Logos 7 will cost me $180? I am beginning to think I made a

  • Re: Whose your sales person?

I can wholeheartedly recommend Cliff Kvidahl. He has gone above and beyond for me and put up with some of my complaints. He has worked through stuff with me and even called me here in Australia. :)

Mark, Mark, and John - One of the most frustrating things that comes across condescending is the response "Logos will never make you pay for what you already own". I GET THAT! It is true, technically. If you re-read my concern it is not with what I own but with what is used to read what I own. I foresee a day when the only way to access the cloud is

I am sorry, I find these responses reasoned and condescending. Words cannot describe the disappointment I have with this company. I own that as my own expectations not being met and my own experience. I wish I had never bought a single product from Logos. I simply bought an ongoing bill (or atlas a call to spend money all the time). In response to the

As someone who has been a long-term customer of Logos I have to say this move by the company is incredibly disappointing. A good company would reward longterm users and not those who pay ongoing fees. Even Microsoft has woken up to the fact that free engines for all on an equal playing field is the way to go. What happens in the future? Eventually I

I open from the doc. I deleted that and opened it from the Applications folder...and now I have nothing. It isn't even showing in the activity monitor. Can I ask one favour? Please, most of us have no tech skills beyond clicking an icon. Please make it simple for stoopid! ;)

Thanks Mike. Downloaded and indexed over 12 or so hours. I cannot believe how fast this MacBook is. i7 with 8g Ram and 500G SSD. I thought it would be quick but not this quick. Now, are there any other Mac issues I need to be aware of? :)

Thanks everyone I really appreciate your help. I was rather frustrated at first. Not so much with Logos but with Apple. As to the problem: I left it overnight and it downloaded it all well after I followed the workaround. Probably took about 5-6 hours. Being new to Mac I don't have any cords etc. so wifi is my only friend. It is now indexing. Should

  • New MacBook Air, L6, & Download Problems

Help! I have just received my new MacBook Air. I have downloaded the Logos 6 engine but my 9Gig of resources are not downloading. It sits on 0% for ages. Can someone please help me out (in simple instructions please I am not a Mac native). Question. If I downloaded Logos 5 first and then updated to 6 would I have these problems? Surely this is not an

  • Layouts: A Question

Hello, I'm wondering if people might be able to post screenshots on layouts they use for sermon preparation. One of Todd's training videos got me thinking about how I layout bibles, notes, commentaries etc. When I tried his suggestions I liked the flow but because I use a 15" laptop the boxes are too small. I wondered how others use layouts? I hope

I know and use Cliff Kvidahl cliff.kvidahl@faithlife.com Cliff is new to sales but was previously involved with mobile ed. No one knows books like Cliff and I know from experience he goes the extra mile! Personally I like having a rep and often they can get better deals. Cliff also pointed out to me that one of my sets was incomplete. all the best!
