Sorry, I think I see what's happening: The red arrow points to a link to the devotional. This link should open the book, just like opening it from the command bar / library. The green arrow points to a link within the devotional to another resource (the midi hymnal). You can see this, if you open the devotional: The home page is just getting the text

I'm sorry, Mark, but it's not clear from your screenshot what the problem is. Can you please elaborate? ... just kidding. This will be fixed in the next beta.
-
I haven't heard of that being reported before, Jon. Can you please provide log files of a session when Logos crashed?
There needs to be an option to suppress empty outline entries in the Handout.
The Handout button in the toolbar lets you include / exclude items from the handout. Heading are included by default, but you can certainly turn them off.
I have no way to see that they are turned on.
The button state indicates whether they are turned on or not:

Thanks for including log files, Richard. It looks like, from your logs, that your computer was having trouble reaching our servers. Can you ensure you have a working internet connection and can reach https://sermonwriterapi.logos.com/v1/ from your computer (you can visit it in a browser) and try again?

Thanks Pieter. This is a great suggestion. We'll add support to respect that existing app setting.

Hans, we were able to determine the problem and put a fix into our next Beta Release Candidate. (This release may be releasing tomorrow, but I can't promise that timeline.) In the meantime, you may be able to work around the issue: 1) open the affected sermon. 2) make an inconsequential change (like, add a letter to the first heading). 3) close the

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. A much requested feature during 7.0 was making the text editable on PowerPoint exported content. We knew this would result in a loss of fidelity of fonts and slide breaking, but we tried the change and didn't get much feedback during the 7.1 beta period. It turns out there aren't a lot of sermon writing, PowerPoint

The issue of some of the past sermon slides not rendering is a server rendering issue. We're deploying an update that should resolve this issue soon.
-
You mentioned it was on the server side, so I am not sure if I should still be experiencing this issue (which I am).
Interesting. We're now unable to reproduce this issue internally (and we were able to when you originally reported it). Did you leave the panels containing the sermons with non-rendering slides open, or

By design, the sermon editor has different behavior based on whether you paste into an empty paragraph vs pasting into a paragraph that has content. This design choice was made to better support inline quoting of a short phrase within the context of your own paragraph. Is it possible that the paragraph that you're pasting into has a stray space or punctuation
When I've written a heading where the last word is selected as a "Fill-in" and then hit return to start a new paragraph, the "Fill-in" button is still selected. It would be helpful if this did not happen!
Thanks for the report. I agree that fill-in should be reset after a paragraph break. To Fred's comment: the
However my min issue is that none of my underlined text is appearing as such in proclaim.
Just to be clear, are you using the underline style or the fill-in style? The fill-in feature will only work for the fill-in style.
when I cut text it takes me back to the beginning of the document every time. It's a little frustrating and clunky.
Yes, this is a bug on our list to fix.

Thanks for all the feedback.
... I can't seem to get Sermon Editor to accept Chinese input.
This has been reported elsewhere on these forums. We have implemented a fix for this issue, and it should be going out with 7.1 beta 3 (due to release next Monday).
Actually, Logos is not exporting PowerPoint

Thanks for creating a new thread, Keith. I would have replied here if I had seen this first. I replied to this question at http://community.logos.com/forums/p/129241/848938.aspx#848938

Hi Luke. Sorry to hear the fill-in feature didn't work for you as expected. Can you send a screenshot of which slide style you were using when fill-in didn't work?
We'll get that media fixed.
The media has been updated. If you toggle the H1 styling off and then on again, it should pick up the updated media.
