The export to PowerPoint feature does use your internet connection to download the rendered slides / backgrounds. But half an hour sounds very unusual. We'll add some logging to the code (for a future release) to help us diagnose this problem better. Does a Sermon with only one or two slides ever complete?
If I understand correctly, we must use only the collections, and nothing else, if we want our sermon text displayed on background images.
Sorry I gave that impression, that's not quite right. You're welcome to pick any media you like to render your slide text on.
It seems that it would be helpful
if it would do this to where we could customize generated slides to our style and brand.
We agree that this would be useful and are looking into how to support it.

Thanks for the feedback, Josh. Sorry that it's not bearing out to be a time saver yet! We have started on spellcheck, and we have plans to improve our media selection logic. Those latter improvements should help your first issue, where you chose something, and then it fell back to the black background on the next paragraph. Also, the fill-in style not

Thanks for asking, Paul. Currently the Sermon Editor lacks rich drag and drop support for a number of scenarios. Grabbing content from a resource, reordering content within the document, and reordering slides are all on our list for consideration.

Thanks for the bug report. I can reproduce the problem, and we'll get it fixed.

Keynote should be able to open the PowerPoint export with no trouble.
Highlighting does not work for me in Logos 8 if I have more than one tab open in a previously saved layout.
Thanks for the report, and sorry about the issue, Paul. We've seen other reports of this, too, and we're investigating! Hope to have a fix out soon.

Thanks for the report. This issue should be fixed in 6.8 beta 2.

We've identified the source of the slowdown and fixed it. Look for improved performance in 6.5.

Information panel will start responding to hover with the Corresponding words filter enabled in the next beta. We'll continue to investigate the click issue.
-
It is by design that the information panel doesn't listen for clicks when the panel is in the Hover mode. Mark: when you're reporting that click does not work, are you putting the information panel into Update on Click mode (on the panel menu)?

This should be fixed in the next beta.
