  • question re: Mobile Ed courses

I am wondering if anyone who has used both of Douglas Moo's courses -- NT305 (New Testament Theology) and NT276 (Pauline Theology) would be willing to comment on how much overlap in content there is. Thanks

  • Add Feature - Search Within Anchors

I would guess a lot of Logos users would like to be able to search for (and then view) all their notes and highlights made in Bibles and commentaries for a specific Bible reference. I am adding his suggestion because I believe it would allow Logos users to search all of their notes for highlights and notes on a Bible reference ------------ In Logos

  • Searching Notes for Bible Reference

I would guess a lot of Logos users would like to be able to search for (and then view) all their notes and highlights made in Bibles and commentaries for a specific Bible reference. In Logos 8, when passages in commentaries are highlighted, the anchor for the note includes both the Bible reference and the name of the resource (Examples, "John 10:25

  • Re: Scrolling through "Bible Book" Notes

UPDATE: The challenge here is to be able to view all notes and HIGHLIGHTS for a particular passage. The anchor for all highlights is the entire highlighted text in the particular resource. It would be wonderful if you could put a reference in the FIND box in notes and bring up every note you've made that includes the reference in the FIND box. So, if

  • Scrolling through "Bible Book" Notes

I really appreciate the new ability to sort my notes for each Bible Book by Reference. It is so helpful to have all my notes and highlights for say, Genesis 13, grouped together. Here's the challenge I'm facing -- Most of my notes for Bible Books number in the thousands. For Genesis, I've made over 4,700 highlights and notes. The only way I know of

  • Re: Crash

I made the move to Logos 8 yesterday. My Logos mobile app is crashing within two seconds of opening it every time on my iphone. A question -- is it LIKELY that the app crashing will stop if I delete the Logos app and re-install? I'd prefer not to re-install the app because I have so many resource downloaded on my iphone.

  • Memorial Homilies/Sermons

I have two questions and wonder if the Forum community can lend a hand. First, how can I search my Logos 7 library for full sermons on the occasion of a memorial? Second, does anyone know of resources in (or out of) Logos that contain full text of sermons or homilies given at memorials or funerals? Thanks.

  • Re: Reduced number of recent highlighting styles on iPad app

Kevin, Thanks for your reply to my post from yesterday. When I tap on a highlight in the iphone mobile app, a tab bar is visible. On the far left is a trash can, to the immediate right of the trash can are five circles each of a different highlight color -- yellow, green, blue, red and orange. Is there any way to replace/swap out the red highlight color

  • Re: Reduced number of recent highlighting styles on iPad app

I was glad to see that a case was opened about this issue. It's frustrating that the same highlighters cannot be used on both the desktop version of logos and the mobile app. Also, if there are only five set options, I don't understand why the pink highlighter is not one of the options. It is much much easier to read highlights made with the pink highlighter

I am a non-logos now user. I do not see options to use either Atlas or Factbook on Nort web reader when accessing the app on my phone. Are these features accessible to non-logos now users either via logos app on iPhone or the Nort app?i

  • Re: Zondervan Illustrated Bible Backgrounds Commentary on sale

A few questions about this set: 1. Does copyright allow for the user to use the maps and photos in teaching presentations on slides/powerpoint? 2. Is this the best set available on Logos for visual graphics -- most number of photographs and maps? 3. Are there other resources on Logos that are easily accessible on the mobile app if you do not have internet

You both were correct. As Peter Marshall would say, "Circle gets the square." Thank you Graham and Alabama.

  • Re: Unwanted Highlighting

It appears that the NBC is only highlighting verse references to the Bible chapter (ex. Jeremiah 4) that my Bible is open to. I also have my text comparison open. I do not have the NBC linked to any other resource. One other detail -- I have a layout for Jeremiah study which I added the NBC to. I'm not sure what is causing all this unwanted highlighting

  • Re: Unwanted Highlighting

I do not have a search panel open. I do agree with you that it seems as if one would be. One other strange thing here -- when I open my other one-volume commentaries, they do not highlight all the verses like the NBC does. Strange.
