  • Re: Disappointing

Thanks MJ for pointing out the 'report typo' feature. I never knew that was there. I friend of mine has the same book on Kindle which does not have the problem and he was able to tell me what it should say. Otherwise it was rather twisted looking. I have reported it. Having said that, I assume Amazon gets books into its' Kindle format in much the same

  • Disappointing

having just bought Rick Warren's Bible study methods book I was sad to see this mess starting chapter 2: 2 THE CHAPTER SUMMARY TIMES, ASKING A SERIES OF CONTENTMETHOD OF BIBLE STUDY seems like something even the most cursory QA pass should have caught.

[quote user="Cynthia in Florida"] This is an honestly straight forward question (to anyone who knows the answer). This is something that baffles me, and I've seen it ever since I've been on these boards, and now with this it seems a good time to ask. I have NEVER before known of a software company that interacts so much with its customers, requests

  • Re: Dear Faithlife, please do not compromise your integrity

Thanks for clarifying your reason for saying radical. I had thought it was because his dislike of Clinton and her pro abortion stance. As long as software had ability to hide things one disagrees with then that would work for me (which it did). I had mine turned off already it seemed. I have various news sites I frequent for news and would not want

I'm apathetic to the removal. But I will say that anyone who thinks it is being removed because article was for Hillary is making a big assumption. If article was pro Trump and someone drew attention to it I suspect the reaction would have been the same. agree with those who would have thought the news would have been about the company etc given the

  • Re: Question about logos now

You guys are quick, much appreciated. Yes, I think I get it now. So, I assume to avoid any potential glitch I could/should buy Logos Now first. Then once that is done I could go back in and see the logos 7 library upgrade I want which should be 10% than what I see now? thanks again guys

  • Question about logos now

In visiting the why logos now it says: Always save at least 10% on Logos 7 Libraries Always save at least 25% on Logos 7 Feature Sets I get the first bullet item, if I have now then I should set the cost of upgrading my library to bronze or silver being 10% cheaper than what I see to upgrade to them without now. I am confused on the second bullet item

  • BUG - "Biblical Event Navigator"

I have discovered a bug in this feature. Look up "Job's wealth is taken from him", in list of important things is 'Camel'. Select 'Camel' it opens factbook but does not open entry for 'Camel'. In my case it opens to last item searched for in factbook. Version is 6.14

  • Re: Upgrading to Logos 7 full feature set vs Logos Now/Membership

Ok, I have looked through all the options and the option that stands out is doing the Logos Now. A year of that is less than half the full feature set upgrade cost. As mentioned at first two years is still a little less than the cost of full feature upgrade. The only downside I can see is if I need to stop my Logos Now at some point my feature set and

  • Re: Upgrading to Logos 7 full feature set vs Logos Now/Membership

Thanks for the responses. You both brought up a point I did not consider. That being that if I jump onto Logos Now I am go to go but if for some reason I stop logos now (job loss, unforeseen expenses requiring cutbacks, etc) I would look my features and I assume revert back to my original Logos 6. Otherwise I would remain on latest and greatest system

  • Upgrading to Logos 7 full feature set vs Logos Now/Membership

So I looked at my options and have questions. I could upgrade to Bronze which gets me more books plus full features and datasets (is that correct?) I could just upgrade to Logos 7 full feature set. Does this include all the datasets too? I could simply sign up for Logos Now. Does that include full feature set and new datasets? I ask because the upgrade

  • Logos 7 Upgrades, packages etc

As many have posted, we cannot yet see what the various packages are (contents and cost) particularly with dynamic pricing against what you have. Not a complaint, just excited to see what the deal is. I suspect I will upgrade once I get a chance to see what my options are. I am not a logos now/membership type of customer and most likely will still not

Yes good point MJ, although logos links are much more than reference to source material. More like links to further detail. But I see your point. I do not recall calling logos greedy either. But let's be honest they are in this to make money and that is not a bad thing.

  • Re: Faith life study bible letdown

Good points so I checked and yes 'prophecy' is in the LBD wouldn't you know. As for the second point, i understand the constant desire to sell more stuff just like every other business. However given that I have a nice library now it would have been nice if I this resource was fully usable. As such it is more of bait and switch type of thing so I shall

sfarted trying to use this on my iPad but quickly discovered it wants to link to anchor Yale bible dictionary (expensive, do not own) for further information instead of its own Lexam bible dictionary. very unfortunate.
