If not already obvious, this is only for Logos Now subscription service people and not Logos 6 in general.

Tom Constable's Bible Study Notes sounds real interesting, are there more recent versions of it?

  • Re: dynamic pricing

That makes sense and seems fair. So is there a way of knowing which sets qualify for dynamic pricing?

  • dynamic pricing

this should be a quick question. Let's assume I buy a few volumes of something like NIV Application Commentary because I want to check them out and also cannot afford full set right now. Will I be able to buy the complete set later and because of dynamic pricing the total cost of the set will adjust by crediting me the cost of the volumes I already

  • Re: Logos Data Backup

Backups will work for many things I would imagine. It will not save your Atlas, Logos Now or some of the other datasets/books that require a license check periodically. As I recall there was a post in the past that mentioned that some datasets/books required license checks but I could be wrong. Either way, I do not anticipate this being a real problem

  • Re: Personnel changes at Faithlife

Only a customer since Logos 4. Anyway I am a civilian user (not clergy, teacher, preacher, etc) and have the software for my own enjoyment. I have not spent thousands but it might be a little over a thousand over time. Regardless, I trust Bob and company not to leave me high and dry. I do wish them the best of luck and reading all of this makes we want

Thanks Joseph, I figured this was not the area for responses which is why I did not ask for anything other than a place to do so. Having said that, I posted basically the same question over at www.christiandiscourse.com as you mentioned. If moderator could lock further replies but leave the thread here so other can go find it to respond that would be

  • touchy question

I wanted to ask if anyone knows of a blog/article etc that provides arguments for/against homosexuality and Christianity? Let me be more specific, I know of homosexuals who are very much anti-religion, particularly Christianity, and I know of homosexuals who claim to be Christian or have a Christian belief. I think I know why those who are gay would

  • Re: The Unseen Realm - question

Good to know, this helps justify some of the cost difference between Logos and Amazon for me. Sold, bought it and downloading now.

  • The Unseen Realm - question

So I have a question about this book as provided from Logos. As has been pointed out in several places the Kindle version on Amazon is significantly cheaper than buying from Logos. I am assuming that the book has numerous references to bible verses among other things. My question is this, are those reference linked to my Logos software so that I can

  • Re: 6.5 (6.5.0.0027) available for download

Yes, hopefully the new datasets etc will be in logo 7 or even eventually in logos 6. As for cloud dependency I wonder if recent outage last week impacted Logos Now or not? Either way, when one is some place where wifi is not available or cannot be obtained for free the thought of relying on the cloud is not a good thing. I have taken a wait and see

Thanks, it was not clear at all where one began and ended between what is for monthly subscribers and those who bought a package.

My Logos 6 went through the motions of the update, am I correct in understanding that there is nothing to gain for non-subscription paying users?

"If Logos would only assure us that Logos NOW will have ALL the features and ALL the data sets of all future base packages and we would NEVER have to purchase a base package again just like Office 365 that would be enough. But as it is the system seems like throwing good money after bad." And this is exactly what I do not want to have happen. I do not

  • Re: Logos Now

Good points Mark. Faithlife is certainly the top-shelf producer of Bible study software to be sure. For churches, seminaries, pastors, etc it is a cost that I suspect can be more easily absorbed and expensed by the budgets of those entities. I have and will continue to enjoy Logos as long as I can. Being a "civilian" in all of this I do not have the

  • Re: Atlas available only online

Thanks for the response, I would imagine the maps would be large but not as large as most mapping software that you can download and install. The logos Atlas really is not that detailed. With the libraries themselves at 5GB+ when installed what a couple more :-) It does present a problem as well for those who are wanting to use the software out in the

  • Atlas available only online

As I have recently discovered, the Atlas feature of Logos 6 works only while online, otherwise it is useless. Is this something that will be addressed at some point? Thanks
