Josh, You may already be aware of it, and/or it may already be included in your library: The Star Book for Ministers fills the same niche as Nelsons Ministers manual. Additionally, for the cost conscious, it's less expensive.

Gentlemen, this is very helpful! Thanks to both of you!!

Sean, I appreciate your informative response, and respect the hard work FL is investing into Logos. It seems counter intuitive on some level that development would work so hard to parallel existing/competing technologies when it would be relatively easy to interface the Logos database WITH google results. For example, If I searched for "For God so loved

A "DO IT / DON'T DO IT" decision matrix is always helpful, and yours is fun too. Thanks ! I also agree with several posters that ultimately my decision factors in my belief that my L6 library is either complete or good enough as it is today, that the L6 tools are all I'll ever need just as they are now, and your excellent point about what happens to

Indulge me in a un-answer to your question, as I pontificate on the situation that occasioned the interruption. The age of Jairius' daughter (named Talitha (little lamb)) was 12 years old. The woman that interrupted the procession toward the sick (dead) girl had been ill with an issue of blood for 12 years. All of this is documented in Mark 5, Matt

[quote user="Josh Hunt"] is there a book that has attractive charts of the various views of the second coming? [quote user="Bob Pritchett"] If we did make it available as a monthly digital subscription, would you prefer: - an online PDF version that you could page through in a web browser, which might or might not have active hyperlinks / be full-text searchable. - a full text edition in Logos format, which would be less visually interesting but wouldn't have

Bob, As an advocate for the visually impaired (being a card-carrying member of that tribe, myself), let me see if I can reinforce a couple of points without my habitual "angry young prophet" voice (since I'm neither angry nor young anymore, propriety should be served). 1. The target market for BSM is, obviously, potential new customers for Logos, and

Tagging your resources will help you with this. (Wiki article here) I won't attempt to justify Logos' methodology for delivering library results, but I sympathize with you over having to either put up with inaccurate results or tag literally thousands of resources to get something as basic as a volume in a set of commentaries.
-
Robert, You have already gotten excellent advice from KS4J... but if you are overwhelmed or don't enjoy technical research and experimentation; don't hesitate to call Logos Support. They can walk you through recovering all of your resources and you can restore to either Libronix or Logos 6 or both (I haven't checked in a while, but it was accurate last

Gao Lu, I agree that Logos software is not intuitive with regard to your issue. I too have struggled to search/highlight/filter specific nouns (in your case) or another part of speech, that didn't return the expected results. No doubt, you will receive a good solid technical explanation of why it didn't work as expected and how to remedy your criteria

Sweet! Many thanks for your graphic demonstration and expertise, sir.

I place a lot of sermon outlines in Logos notes that are linked to the passage where the sermon begins. For instance, a sermon on John chapter 15 would likely have a note that is linked to John 15:1, but have many other Bible reference included in the outline like Gal 5.22-23 concerning fruit. However, there would be no indicator located at Gal 5:22
