    What I've done is to set "Automatically download updates" to "No". It still shows me when an update is available, but I can choose to accept it when it's a good time for me. I usually wait until the update size is substantial, such as over 50 MB, or something like that. That way, I'm not bothered by some tiny little update that triggers a re-indexing

    I think it actually is sustainable. In my case, I would have to pay $300 right now to upgrade to the full feature set. I could do that, and Faithlife would get $300 now, and nothing for a while. If I spend that much on an upgrade every 3 years, then a Logos Now subscription is basically equivalent. But, that assumes that my cost of upgrading remains

    I'm in the same boat. I currently have Bronze, and was planning to upgrade to Silver this fall. I'd been watching the prices on Silver, and it had been going up, but was somewhere around $350 or so. If I'm not mistaken, it used to include the New American Commentary, so it was a pretty significant upgrade in terms of resources. The new version of Silver

  • Excited and disappointed

    I was initially really excited when I found out that Logos 7 was available! I began with Starter about 2 years ago, then upgraded to Bronze last year. My plan was to upgrade each year, and I was hoping to keep it around $300 or so for each upgrade. It was looking like I would be able to do that, at least through Silver, with the help of a big sale.

    The free engine will be available in February, which is six months from launch. I guess they want to give everyone a chance to buy it before they give it away.

    I don't think that the problems are totally fixed in 4.6.1. I have the latest version on both my iPad and iPhone (both are latest version of iOS 8), and I have a problem when trying to use my personal notes. It takes a long time to open a note file, then it will hesitate when trying to scroll through the notes, then crash altogether. If I try to use
