• Re: REQUEST: Life Application Study Bible Notes Module - Please

This has been requested many many times over the years but for whatever reason these notes have never appeared in Logos. It is one of those mysteries that seems to have no good answer. I wish you well in getting them but the closest we have is the 17 volume life application commentary of the NT. -dan

I specifically included non catholic resources and indeed some volumes also mentioned are done by protestants. Indeed some of the best classic volumes to include might come from the speakers commentary but that has yet to make it into proction levels to get it out of community pricing. That said the 3 Cambridge school volumes are quite well done and

It may have been more a gentle reminder not to go there. Always good as I know i specifically avoided mentioning a competitor in another thread but once it got brought up by another user I did laud the release of a product not available in Logos but hopefully one day it may be available in FL. -dan
Yeah the Kindle edition is horrible I wish I hadn't bought it. If I had known Accordance would be offering it I would have bought for Accordance instead. Logos needs this and other NRSV based study bibles.
Same here I had heard rumours that there might finally be some hope of getting it in Acc but until monday I had no idea
Yes! If these were more conservative they would have been out years ago.
Likely yes... but FL has many customers who would like these. HSB and NOAB are required books for many university courses but you have to turn to Olivetree or Accordance to get one of those. And for the majority of users they will use one program and

More than age I would suspect that it is connectivity. Even on a fast network using resources not downloaded often times is slower than acceptable. This might be exactly what you are looking for: Indulgences. 1. Roots of the RC doctrine of indulgences reach back to the ancient practice of penitential * discipline. As the penitential system changed its character and the RC sacrament of penance * evolved, penance was no longer regarded as a mere expression of sorrow for sin or even as the discharge

  • Re: Question about Plagiarism

Plagiarism is serious but two things to remember is as mentioned he is a contributor of the SB and the same publisher holds rights to both works. Study Bibles have very limited space and could never attribute every quote and still be printed. There is a different level of exception of attribution of quotes for various things. Now I am reminded of Barclay
