• Re: Can I ERASE highlights on the iPad?

Thanks guys, I must have stumbled onto one of those odd little gremlins that are hard to replicate. I did all the things you mentioned but the highlighting stayed. I was able to clear it only by making the change on my pc. May have been a little bug in the ipad or something. Anyway, it's working as expected now. Thanks!

  • Can I ERASE highlights on the iPad?

Sitting in a worship service last night and I try to highlight a passage. I don't like the way it looks and wish to erase all highlighting of that passage. It's easy enough to do on the pc but I couldn't sigure out how to erase highlighting on the iPad. Any thoughts? P.S. If it is really simple and obvious please make hard and complicated so I won't

  • Re: Books on Atheism

You might find it helpful to read some of the prior debates on the existence of God. These will help you to understand the atheistic position and better defend. Thomas B. Warren has at least two debates including one where he debated Flew and another where he debated Warren Matson. I think these are available in the internet including some videos. As
Resources available in logos 4. No debates
. You are asking a big question. Believers have struggled with this question for a long time. Not so much whether war is ever acceptable but whether it is always acceptable and the parameters which Christians must follow. It would be very helpful for you to be as specific as

  • Adding Hengstenberg from CD

While cleaning up my home office I found a CD I bought with Hengstenberg's Commentary on Psalms. It is for Logos 3. I have the unlock code on the disc envelope. The resource is not presently part of my Logos 4 setup. Can the version for 4 be downloaded and if so what do I need to do? Is there a way to find other resources that I bought but were never
Do you still have your installation disks for L3? You can run both programs on the computer and that would allow you to have a work around...
I might have them somewhere Bill but your guess is as good as mine. I'm fine for now though and will wait and hope for the PPB at some point. If it happens, fine, if not
Do you possibly have Libronix (Logos 3)? with the Sermon File Add-in? If you do, you could put all those articles, lessons, sermons, etc., into that and then save them in L3. When you boot L4, it should recognize the new content and then the "book" formed by the sermon add-in and would then be available in L4. However,

  • My Content Questions

Ok, probably been asked before but I can't find it... Is it possible to have L4 search documents created outside of Logos for inclusion in the My Content reports? For example, can it search a directory of Word documents? I have so many files, lessons, sermons, transcripts, papers, articles, etc. that it would be great for them to be included too. Thanks

  • How do I erase highlights I no longer need?

I love the highlighting system in L4. I think it is much better and certainly easier than in L3. But I find that I am unable to erase some highlights. Specifically, I have some words that have a yellow highlight applied with a green box around them. I am not really sure why they are highlighted, but the ERASE button at the top of the highlighting pane

Ok, said I wasn't posting anything else but I do need to clear something up. Yes, printing support of notes and such is now set for 2Q. However, in the original web page which listed missing and coming features and updates, some improvement in notes was listed as coming soon. That page has been updated and no longer includes the "coming soon" section

Richard, thanks for your reply. I have read about usage stats but I for one typically do not allow programs to report back statistics. It's a security and privacy issue for me. I don't know how many users send data back and forth to Logos but I doubt I was one. Usage stats seem to be an excuse to explain slow development. Let me ask, how often do users

I wonder if it is asking too much to have Bob actually come here and explain his reasoning for backburnering (new word!) this issue. It has been on the coming soon list since at least October. Workarounds are fine but that really begs the question. It's just incredible to me that we are even having this discussion.

  • Re: Request for LDLS3 Notes Capabilities in L4 (And maybe a bit more...)

If Steve is correct, the Bob is simply saying "No" to his customers. While I would be pleased to also pay a modest fee for functionality I agree that this is a terribly embarrassing position for Logos. I am horribly saddened by this attitude. I hope Steve is just wrong. But is it too much for Bob himself to clarify the issue?

I'm adding my voice here. Please at least let us know what is going on. And I hope for something better than "we're working on it." We need this functionality.

  • Re: Logos4's 'Note File' functionality is missing significant Logos3 functionality

This has been a terrible disappointment to me. I don't need any hi-level graphics capability but I do need the ability to use my notes. It's sad that no one from the company has been by this thread to give us an update. The ultimate end of our studies requires that we bring things together into one place and Logos seems to be the perfect location. C

I am in the same situation. I wouldn't hold my breath however. They have claimed it was coming since back in October but it's clearly not been a priority. I hope for rapid deployment but have come to doubt it will happen quickly. Bryant
