Actually it's the search analysis report that you can export to EXCEL. With analysis selected, click on the magnifying glass in the search window at the upper left of the search window. You will see an option to export there and you can select an xml or csv output file. Bryant

Andy, Oddly enough you can export search results to an EXCEL file. The website says importation of notes has been coming soon since October. I am hoping we can see the print issue resolved more quickly. To me, printing seems to be a rather basic demand of a software system. Bryant

I read the 4.0a notes and see nothing about some of the missing features that are supposedly very close to being fixed. Especially issues like printing of notes and importation of notes from version 3. Are these on the list for 4.0a? Bryant

Thanks Guys! This is the one really big, huge issue I have with 4. There is still so much to explore so I haven't tried everything but the inability to print and import is pretty massive to me. On the other hand, the syncing ability is phenomenal and greatly appreciated!

Could someone from LOGOS give us an update on the features supposedly coming very soon? Personally, I am wondering about the ability to import L3 notes and the ability to print a note file. Are these items being held for 4.0a? Thanks

Just a guess but did you close the search tab?

I am working with a regular notes file. The inserted text is blue which indicates a link. Ctrl-click in edit mode doesn't work for me either. This is odd since Bible references work well. I'm guessing there is some oddity about my system that is causing this since others seem to have no problem. I'll add this to the list of things I am waiting for.

Thanks for a great reply. However I cannot get it to click open. It "looks" right but when I ctrl-click nothing happens. Tried ctrl-click, alt-click, shift-click, and plain click. May have something blocking it here but I don't know what.
This has been acknowledged as a bug in the past. for now you can create the link in Word or another word processor and copy and paste it into the note section. You can also paste the URL to the resource into note, and when you need to go to the resource Copy and paste the URL into the command box.
So Phil, If I
That's what I figured. And I'd like the same feature added. In case you didn't know, when you type a Bible reference in a note it creates a link once you add the space. I vaguely remember some discussion about this and its limits, but it is a start. Chris
You are exactly right Chris and I am thankful for that. It

Thanks Chris and Mark. Chris, I tried that but it forces you to create a new note. I just want to create a hyperlink inside a sentence within a note. Thanks though. I appreciate the suggestion. Mark, thanks for the information. I hope they are working on this very soon. It seems like notes need a good deal of work. Basically I like the new layout if

I'm sure this is a no brainer - but then I have no brain this morning... I want to add a link, inside of a note, to a Logos4 resource on my computer. For example, I want to reference Eerdmans Bible Dictionary's article on Christ. I've tried copy and pasting and such but am getting nowhere. What am I missing? Thanks Bryant

This occurs as L4 re-indexes your old files and prepares the new ones to work with L4. In the beginning it is a lengthy process but once finished you will not see the window again...at least not very often if ever. Bryant

In my experience - very similar to yours - the time estimate is next to useless. Make sure you have plenty of available space left on the HD (about 4gb is best) which gives plenty of room for the system to work. I shut down everything except Logos and it took a solid 24 for my stuff. It will finish.

Great thanks, but I did have to hold ctrl while clicking to get it to work. Is that normal? Either way that is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks bryant

Is it possible to include a clickable hypertext internet link in an L4 note or clippings file? Thanks Bryant

I struggled with some of the same issues. Unless you really dug into the details before the download you were probably surprised at the way it worked. The whole install and indexing does seem to be a rather in-elegant way of doing things. However on my 1..6 ghz machine I suffered through the install and am satisfied with the product. I hope you will
Click on some word in the ESV to show its interlinear info and have it automatically be "sympathetically highlighted" in NA27.
Yes, that would be nice I guess but that could really gunk up the NA27 page. Is sympathetic highlighting session limited or does it persist? Bryant

My first thought is to verify that you are logged into your machine properly. I've not had this problem with L4 but did with another program a while back. Looking at your image I would think you would have to be logged in as Lionel. Just a thought, Bryant

Do the new builds automatically download and install or must I do something manually? Bryant
