Not sure if this is possible, but it would be cool... I would like to create a handout for the readings of the day and attach my favorite commentary to it... Also, need the ability to limit the length of the commentary so we do not get 20 pages of text. (i.e. Anchor Yale)... Anyone have any thoughts if this is possible? Thanks! - Michael

When I go to help, it says Verbum Master + International... Not sure I understand what you are saying... I've got about 5k worth of stuff in my library and I would expect that the basic stuff listed in the video I would also have. Perhaps not.

  • Factbook

Hi... I am reviewing the Logos 6 videos and while I was following along I noticed that my factbook didn't contain nearly as much information as the video. I'm on the Master level and I would think I should have a ton. Is there any configuration I need to do? Thanks! - Michael

[quote user="Edwin Bowden"] [quote user="Michael Gaskin"] Yep. You nailed it. I am complaining that other people who purchase upgrade "packages" are getting the feature set of L5 before me. That's it! And, its wrong. I've spent tons of money on packages and additional resources and I do not want anything else... BUT, I want the features of L5 and I

Who said that I want something for free.... Please read more carefully my post before commenting. I said... "I would be willing to pay for those features." - Michael PS: Perhaps it is you who is doing the hopping because you didn't even bother to take the time to read my comment with full understanding.

I think what would have solved this is for them to have released the application by itself that allows each of us the choices to purchase what new datasets we want. Rather than having to upgrade "packages" and getting resources we do not need....... The above is what I should have said from the get-go... Take care! - Michael

  • Bloated like Version 4? Pricing Concerns

I spoke with a rep today and was slightly bummed that I need to purchase a new package when I've already spent a few thousand bucks on resources. I don't want any other "packages" I want the functionality of L5. Now, I understand a version is coming out that will allow me to get the software but that's not available. Why? Is it because they want people

[quote user="James Macleod"] [quote user="Mike Pettit"] I am not saying that non trinitarians cannot be wonderful people, but if Logos is to have any Christian credibility at all the trinity is where it really has to draw the line at where it will publish in anything but an apologetical or historical sense. Nicky, I would have assumed you knew what I meant... I'll be more clear next time. Of course there is bias (known and unknown), but I do not want a Christian bias when it comes to Muslim history... Don't want apologetics... Just a good well rounded history / understanding of the Muslim faith. Thank you for the other ideas for study. - Michael

Reviewing briefly the volumes and they appear to be written by people who are not actually Muslims. I do not want slant, bias, etc. when I read articles / books but I want to read actual Muslims writing about their own history. Anything in the works? - Michael

  • Re: B16 and JP2 Encyclicals - Pre-Pub

I've only really focused on Benedict XVI (I came into the Church in 2009) but I've had some dealings with JP2's Faith and Reason for school... Great stuff!! What I think is amazing about Benedict XVI is that he can speak with the most learned professors, exegetics and theologians, but then write a book like Jesus of Nazareth.... Pretty awesome.....
