  • Editing the Highlight Keyboard Shortcuts

I enjoy highlighting resources with Logos and use "O," "P" and "Y" for the Orange, Pink and Yellow highlighters. But I am frustrated to have to use two hands - Control Shift "E" to erase. Can I reassign the erase function to "E" somehow?

Has the Tip of the Day moved? Been discontinued? On vacation?

To extend the discussion a bit. I find a resource called "Biblical Places Maps" and was wondering how it compares to the Atlas Tool in the experience of other Logos users.

Thanks John, Playing around with your ideas I find that the Atlas Tool places Ziklag on the map for me, but to search my Collection of four Atlases I need to search for "Ziklag" rather than <Place Ziklag> which returns no results. The search for "Ziklag" in my Atlas Collection takes me to articles mentioning Ziklag and generally there is a map

  • Atlas Tool and Atlas Resources

As I read a passage of the Bible, I often come across place names and want to see where they are on a map in relation to other places. I have the Atlas Tool and four different Atlas resources. I still haven't found an easy way to interact with my Atlases. How are you using these tools and resources?

  • Re: The Wind in the Willows CP closing at $10

Can somebody help me out here? Why would someone choose to read a children's book (or any novel really) on Faithlife rather than Kindle or some other EPub app? I'm not sure I see the advantage even if the prices were equal. Is it the indexing and search capability? Community highlights? I don't get it. . .

  • Re: Pastor? Church leader? Join Faithlife's private focus group!

Bob, Not what you want to hear, but I am with M.J and Steve. As a layman who teaches Sunday School and leads Community Groups I would love to find a focus group where I can participate and contribute to the Logos Community. My first suggestion would be to build a base package for laymen, light on Greek and Hebrew and heavy on Commentaries, Dictionaries

If you are on FaceBook, there is a group called "Logos Resales" you might want to join. Read through some of the old posts to see what is for sale on the "used Logos" market.

What a great post and thread. I endorse all the comments and add one of my own about the people mentioned here by Colin. They all must be trained as Elementary School teachers. I say that because of their patience in answering questions for the 1000th time for Newbies like me with such good grace and humor. Way to go Logos Forum!

Enter the sales coupon code "NICSALE" at the checkout. https://www.logos.com/nicsale Quote It sure didn't say that in my personalized offer or the sales page anywhere!

This blog post might help: https://blog.logos.com/2016/06/highlight-book-like-bible-nerd/ I have been struggling with some of the same issues you are and started a thread in the Logos 6 forum: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/127396.aspx But in the end it seems that cut and paste are the best we are going to get. -john

Thank you MJ. That is pretty much what I do and it is a reasonable process. I use a new note each month rather than each day and append new passages as they catch my eye. Comforting to know that I am not missing some hidden shortcut somewhere. -John

Confession time. . . I am a lifelong Windows user, laptop and desktop, but for some reason switched to IPad for my tablet of choice. I currently use the IPad Mini2 with 16 GB. The learning curve to go to IPad was short (some of my best friends are MAC people). I use the IPad primarily for Logos, Kindle and email with a little light internet available

My use is very unsophisticated. I keep a running Journal. Each month I create a new note titled with the name of the month within a Note Document titled 2016 or whatever. Each day I type in by hand the day's date and add any bible verses or commentary that catch my eye by either "copy Bible verses" or cut and paste. I've tried both clippings and highlighting

  • Would like to add to a note rather than add to a note document

When I select text in a resource and right click I am offered an option of adding a note to a note document. I would prefer to add the text to an open note within a note document. In one capture below I have selected text and then copied it into the open note. In the other capture I right clicked and chose "add a note" which doesn't seem to have any
