I too love this resource. I have created a CT Collection to facilitate searching. Does anyone know how I would search the Tables of Contents for a particular topic like "Prayer?" In other words, can I generate a list of all the articles in CT with the word "prayer" in the title rather than all occurances of the word in all the articles themselves?

I share your enthusiasm for this resource. Ten cents an issue! Wow. I have created a Collectioin to facilitate searching. Does anyone know the trick of searching only the CT Table of Contents for keywords? For instance I would like to see a list of all articles with the word "prayer" in the title. -john

Good start in giving control to users with respect to home page settings. However I would like to turn off Community Pricing or at least have the option. Also, the attached picture will show that I may not be seeing all the boxes available to check or uncheck.

Thanks for asking Mike. Deleted and reinstalled a couple of times. Each reinstall I downloaded fewer and fewer resources. I have alternative apps to use until Logos 8 stabalizes. . .

I use ESV, NIV, NIV(84), BKC and ECB linked. No other resources downloaded. Android phone is Galaxy S5 running 6.0.1 with 13.1 GM of 16 in use. Plenty available on the SD card, but of course, can't move Logos there. IPad is IPad Mini2 running 12.1 (16B92) with 5.98 GB available of 16. Everything was working well on both platforms up until the last month

  • Is Logos Mobile Broken Beyond Repair

Neither my Android Phone nor my IPad will successfully run Logos. The phone pretty much gives up immediately. The IPaD teases me for a few minutes before it locks up in the midst of scrolling. Lately it fails to find Psalms that I know are there such as Psalm 40. The App seems to prefer Psalm 34. I dearly love Logos on my Desktop and Laptop, but I absolutely

I would dearly love to get hold of your Word macro. I spend a lot of time playing around with passage lists in Word to put them into useable form. -john

Android phone Logos app crashes almost as soon as it starts. IPad app shows blank pages or blank half pages. The link feature is not working consistently. Very frustrating. . .

  • Re: Logos 8 Notes/Highlights/Notebooks confusion

I wonder if someone did a demographic study of notes users vs notes non-users (those who "get notes" and those who don't) if there would be an age correlation. This whole idea of faceted browsing/searching is just gobbledegook to a senior citizen raised on pen and paper. I am used to paragraphs and outlines in a document with a title. Notes seems to

Thank you Graham and Phil. You did a good job of explaing how things work. I will continue to test the system and see if I can wrestle it into a place where it becomes useful for me. Unfortunately, I think I would need someone to talk me through this before I can make efficient use of it. -john

  • Logos 8 Notes for Dummies

I don't anchor notes to my Bible or any resources (except Highlighting which is associated with the resource highlighted). The anchoring feature, key to many users, is in the way for me. I would like Notes to be like an open Word document where I can cut and paste or save clippings from open resources or add notes of my own. Later I could find that

  • New Notes Tool

I am a dinosaur! In Logos 4, 5, 6 and 7 I used Notes more like a journal. I had a Note document for each year creatively named "2016," "2017," etc. I would either write a note or copy and paste something from a resource. Now I can't find my notes because Note titles don't exist in Logos 8. Can anyone help me find my notes? I already "Set Prefer Notes

Click on those three little dots at the far right top of the Library Panel. You will see "Prioritize Resources" near the bottom of the drop down menu. Drag resources into the Prioritization panel and order them as you like. https://www.logos.com/advanced-training/logos5/windows/prioritize

  • Daily Reading Plan

Somebody please help me. I use the M'Cheyene Reading plan start date Jan 1, CSB Translation. I have a Layout named Daily Devotions which has CSB and two other translations along with commentaries and my prayer notes. I try to read through a different translation each year so CSB is NOT my top prioritized Bible nor do I send my hyperlinks to it. But

  • Re: How can I go back to Logos 7?

David, I have prioritized my Bibles, Dictionaries, Commentaries, Atlases and other Miscellaneous resources. For example, my number one prefferred Bible is ESV. But, where I go to church and where I use my IPad, the Bible of choice is NIV. In Logos 7 Desktop my Default Bible, as selected on my HomePage was NIV and that is the Bible that would show up

  • Re: How can I go back to Logos 7?

Thanks for the reply David. The most irritating is the Bible Reading plan glitch. my layouts feature larger font and the default layout for reading a Bible Reading Plan has tiny font. It will be good to get control again. Also, I really need to be in control of the default Bible and be able to change that. Prioritization works differently. The default

  • Re: How can I go back to Logos 7?

Three negatives so far: 1) Home page is pretty bad. No way to clear out the junk and just peruse ONLY items that interest me. Cannot find out how to choose default Bible. 2)Clicking on Daily Bible reading plan jumps to a new layout rather than opening my Bible in my preferred layout to the correct readings. 3) Corresponding highlights from one translation
