If a resource is made available offline, changes to rating are not reflected on the iOS app. Even if available offline is made OFF and ON again, It is unthinkable how this can be done for hundreds of offline resources. mytag does not seem to work on iOS at all. ------------------------------- With the heavy shift in of the user base to mobile devices

This is a true story. Day before yesterday, I dreamed Logos in the wee hours of morning and woke up. In my dream, Sync V2 had gone live, reading plans had started to Sync properly, and highlighting had come to the iOS. What a beautiful dream it was! I think It made me too much excited and I woke up. The dream just made me realize how much I am living

" When highlighting is added to selected text a note will now be added to the active, open Notes document, or to the most recently active Notes document " This brings in significant challenges: 1. Notes are often of a transactional nature with regular additions and deletions. This throws my highlights (which I often want to perpetually remain) at great

I would appreciate insights on the meaning of 'glorified' (δοξάζω) in Romans 8:30 (1) Louw-Nida: 87.24 δοξάζωc: to cause someone to have glorious greatness—‘to make gloriously great, (2) BDAG: ② to cause to have splendid greatness, clothe in splendor, glorify, Please can someone share insights into how these lexicons determine that this is the contextual
I have spent more time (even after I was SOLD on the collection) for the benefit of all the others that wouldn't have the time to really see the value in this collection. Logos has gone way beyond anything I was ever expecting this Christmas, and I wanted EVERYONE who might see this thread to realize the outstanding VALUE contained
Since Logos has given us an update column on our library, that certainly helps and can be used to sort out the Master Collection for tagging that way.
That was very helpful. I tagged them all together in Library after sorting on the 'Last Updated Date'. Then created a Logos Collection for that tag. Well, this is giving

VOW! I am humbled by all these great posts. Thanks a lot to each one. I am going to prepare a work-flow using all these insights. If anyone bumps on this still, please feel welcome to share any further insights!

I am embarking on a study of some key topics/themes in the Bible, for example 'Lordship'. I am aware that prayerful Exegesis of Key Verses, Word Study, and searching Entire Library/Dictionaries/Encyclopaedias/Journals can help. I am looking for kind inputs/tips on the following from fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who have went through this in

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all for the resource suggestions, search suggestions, charts, observations...all given so quickly. May Godly richly bless you all for the time you spent for me!

Can anyone please let me know if there is logos resource with the above list preferably as a chart?

Hi Dave, I agree on how the operators should work. But does not quite like how the search itself works. I - like most users - am more interested in getting the results I want quickly and with the least knowledge and use of the search syntax. I have to admit that many a times google, as in this example, helps me get what I want quicker and simpler. The

I want to personally thank all who provided insights and answers. I have been greatly blessed!
this was the answer that should have ended it: So, if Scripture is silent on such things as whether or not animals go to heaven, so should we be. Emotions and exegesis don't mix very well.
Out of genuine curiosity: 1. Silence does not mean Yes of No. Does anyone think that animals in heaven or new earth is a genuine

Nevertheless, I am finding the NIVAC series immensely useful!

A God who is intensely interested even in the salvation of animals (along with the wicked Ninevites) must be interested in anyone. Bruckner, J. (2004). The NIV Application Commentary: Jonah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah (103). Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan Publishing House.

Yes. AND is not picking up word relationships. It is seems to be returning articles with the words anywhere in it. I think if AND returns the results with NEAR on top of the list ranked according to their phrase density, title and so on, that should solve the problem.
-
However, given the recent flareups of "Logos is overpriced" threads.... I would prefer this not be the way Logos gets these titles, I think it would damage their image.
I also prefer the normal price - nobody would want to spend more on anything IF they can get it cheap. Otherwise I would rather spend the money and

Dave, Jack, I should confess - both of you have been 'very NEAR helpful' . I learned to search better and for narrower results. These results also helped me to see civic pride in new positive light - use of that by Paul and in James - balanced with the higher heavenly one. But for this I would have had viewed it only negatively in context of Philippians
