  • Word List Filtered by Biblical Frequency

I want to make a word list of words used within a given range (e.g., Judges 3:7-11) that is then filtered by frequency of use within the entire Hebrew OT (not just frequency within that range). Is this something Logos can do? Is there some way other than Word List to accomplish this? Thanks.

  • Word List

I'm trying to make a word list to be used with the flashcard app put out by Faithlife. I need the list to have all Greek lemmas with 15 or more uses in the New Testament. Is there a way to do this that does not include me manually deleting those that are below 15 uses? Thanks!

I restarted the Macbook and it allowed me to delete the file. I've had no adverse affects since then, though Logos did want to download 90MB of something (which happens almost everytime I connect this laptop to the internet). Problem solved, I guess.

I'm not sure when this file first showed up in the trash, so I don't know if it was moved there during an update or not. Here's the problem: Even with Logos closed it will not remove the file. I get a warning that the operation will not continue because the file XXXXX.ttf is in use (where XXXXX is a font name). Any ideas?

  • Empty Trash...confirm....NO NO NO WAIT NO CANCEL!!!!1!

I went to empty my trash bin today and was alarmed to find that a Logos Application file was in it. The process stopped because Logos was in use, so I didn't lose anything, but I'm still puzzled as to how the file got there (and where it is SUPPOSED to be). The file name is: "Logos Bible Software 4 (61450.7.101)" Anyone have any idea what this is, how

  • Re: Hideous Note Indicators

I like having an indicator in the text. As others have said, I'm not entirely sure why Logos thinks that superscripts/subscripts (used for centuries) need to be improved upon, but I'm not really opposed to some sort of graphical indicator as exists now. My complaint is the size of the indicator and what that does to the readability of the text. I'm

  • Hideous Note Indicators

As I'm reading through a text, I don't necessarily want to come to a complete stop every time I get to a point where I have added a note, but the note indicators are so intrusive that I find it difficult to read past them. I could force myself to ignore them before 4.5, but it sure looks like they have increased in size with the update. Is there a way

  • Re: Importing Free E-books

In my opinion, this is the only major weakness of this program. The inability to incorporate resources - especially specific journal articles - is a serious limit to Logos' usefulness as a research tool. ...well that and the deficiencies of the Mac version of Logos.

  • Manual Clippings?

Is there a way to manually add clippings from "dead tree" sources? I find the clipping function extremely useful, but Logos cannot be my central storage place for quotations if it is limited to quotations from logos resources. I should be able to add a new clipping complete with the quotation and (manually entered) citation. (If there is NOT a way to

I am a new user that installed on both MAC and PC. I was having trouble on the Mac and was just about to post on these forums when I decided to run one last update and download one last file. Turns out...it was actually the last file! Just takes some patience while it downloads, updates, restarts, etc. over and over. :\
