• Re: Why does half the verse of the "Link Driver" have be be invisible before the reference is accepted for all linked resources?
I can't get my ESV to display v6 when scrolling. It shows v5 instead, then jumps to v7. When I input the verse number the vertical alignment is different:
Thank you for your time and screenshots, and input. I see that v.6 takes up about 1.6 lines in your workspace, and I'm not sure why scrolling altogether skips vs

  • Re: Logos 5.2b Beta 3 (5.2.2.0041) is now available

I've been having lots of crashes over the last week. I've never had anything of this magnitude with Logos before. I've been running the 5.2.1.0155 Windows Engine, and just updated to this Beta 3, 5.2.2.0041, and still have the same issue. I see that all my settings are downloaded to Logos. Maybe someone there can look at my current layout. It locks

  • Why does half the verse of the "Link Driver" have be be invisible before the reference is accepted for all linked resources?

After running a search like a responsible forum user would, when I found users having a similar issue, I first attempted this reply in a Mac Forum. A man named Graham recommended I cross-post it here, so here I am.... Reply More ▼ Anthony Grubb | Forum Activity | Replied : Today 6:06 AM David Medina: For example, I am doing a study on Psalm 27. • Re: Becoming frustrated and disappointed with Logos 4

With all due respect, I had limited time to make this post, but agreed to be a responsible forum user and run a "search" to see if the concern I had was already addressed. Hence, finding a similar thread.... Evidently, in the language of the ESV, I did not "fear anything that is frightening"--like making a fool out of myself over here in MacWorld, lol
For example, I am doing a study on Psalm 27. In the home page I enter Psalm 27 and after a delay it sends me to the Passage guide for Psalm 27. But wait.... while the Passage Guide and the Exegetical Guides are on Psalm 27 the MOST important item is not... the Bible goes to other psalms. Basically I have to enter Psalm 27

  • Early English Bibles & History Suggestion

Thank you in advance for your thoughtful consideration of this suggestion. In my studies of early English Bibles, and the History surrounding its formation--along with the brave "affront" of those daring enough to face death and penetrate the British Isles with the very Word of God, I am pleased to report that Logos does offer some resources, such as
Perhaps this still contains the 1984 edition text?
{where above embedded link points to http://www.logos.com/product/4873/sermon-studies-on-the-old-testament-ilcw-series-b } Mark, I appreciate your optimism, but even though this commentary uses the 1984 NIV in the inline text, it is not listed among the titles included

Thank you for your helpful comments Stephen and Philana! Just a note to say there is an all new discussion on this topic (that was a couple days old and missed when I searched for a place to jump in). I'll post a link to it here (and have already placed a link there back here). My own suggestion is to place new comments on that topic, but wouldn't it

  • Re: BIBLE READING PLAN

Just want to mention there is some current discussion on a thread with a similar name. I could take responsibility, for when I researched to find where to put my comments, it took me to a thread two years old, which is slightly awkward (since this one was present and only a couple days old), but I'll post a link here since three comments there are new

I like where you two were going with this thread. Sorry to jump in so late. I did a little research before creating a new thread and found this... The generic reading plan options... yeah, I'd like to see something fully customizable. The International Sunday School lessons go thru the Bible in six years, and I think for starters, Logos should allow
Just to be clear it is the IBS not Zondervan that has retracted 1984, I am sure Zondervan would like nothing better than selling more products not caring too much whether it is 2011 or 1984.
Uh, yeah, I read that in another forum and actually don't think the clarification is particularly believable--nor for that matter

  • Re: NIV 84?
It seems Zondervan now forced Logos to retract NIV 1984 completely in order to push users into NIV 2011. See e.g. this thread: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/48005.aspx
Looks that way--and I see it as a clear sign of Zondervan's desperation to turn their decisions into good ones (instead of just making good decisions

I am unable to sign-in on the mobile site for Biblia. It has fields for my username and password, but everytime leaps past an un-obtainable "Sign In" button to "Forgot Password?" Also, it has been this way for months--as long as I've tried to access it, that is! It looks like there is a little blue button (perhaps a facebook icon?) and I don't even

Thanks, Steve, but they seem to want notes explaining the reason for each edit, and I didn't think (in my tired state) that I could just wipe it out, that they would accuse me of overly editing (or altering) my posts. I guess what you're saying is that it is permissible to wipe it clean--assumedly if no one else has responded...and I can write "delete

I'm gonna have to go to bed, but this was also very interesting... The Catholic Encyclopedia ( http://books.logos.com/books/5737#content=/books/5737 ) was published in 1907 [p. 6], 5 years before Francis Schaeffer was born ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_Schaeffer ), and yet it lists him as a contributor to the second volume [p. 11]... Wow, that's REALLY amazing! Thanks for the link! Also, in the last few minutes, I found I could view the pages better in color. Maybe the bugs can be worked out as the BW image unnecessarily TOTALLY blacks out areas with only the slightest shade variation.... Still in its BETA, hopefully this will be fixed.
