  • Biggest need - HANDS FREE READ ALOUD - enjoy my collection in drive time

The biggest need I have in Logos is to be able to have the book read aloud while I'm driving during my commute time. I would much rather listen to the books in my collection than to the radio anyway. This isn't using the existing smartphone read on-screen feature. That won't cut it. I need to have the app read continuously until I stop it, possibly

  • Re: READ ALOUD for iPhone

Tim, I would like to know more how you're using VoiceOver. I've tried it, and it just drives me bonkers. It reads everything on the screen, including commands and controls. I just want it to read the text aloud. I was also having trouble with it stopping at the end of every verse. If I'm driving, I can't be tapping on the phone. I just want it to be

  • READ ALOUD for iPhone

How do I do READ ALOUD on the iPhone app? This would be really handy for listening to resources during my commute. Thanks!

  • LogosSymbolUnicode font for SBL Greek New Testament (GNT) in Biblia

When I look at a passage in the SBL Greek New Testament in Biblia, some of the marks only show as squares. When I right-clicked and selected "Inspect Element" it shows the following style. font-family: LogosSymbolUnicode; vertical-align: super; line-height: 0; font-size: 66%; I searched the web and Logos.com, but I cannot find this elusive LogosSymbolUnicode

  • Re: National Biblical Greek Exam, greekexam.com

Bob Pritchett, I've been waiting for a reply for over a month now. Does anyone at Logos know what's happening with the National Biblical Greek Exam site on greekexam.com? When will my students be able to take the exam? Thanks! Scott

Bob, It's been a week and a half, and I'm still waiting to hear anything on how to register students for greekexam.com, or if the site is even working for new users at this point. The instructions on greekexam.com are still very vague. Thanks! Scott

  • National Biblical Greek Exam, greekexam.com

Does anyone know the status of the National Biblical Greek Exam? I tried to email greekexam@logos.com and received no reply. I tried calling Logos and was transferred twice (once to Sales, again to Customer Service, which still wasn't the right place). Why does the main number at Logos not know how to transfer a call on this topic? I am on the site

  • "View in Google Maps" has no street address, just city and state

For our church listing ( https://faithlife.com/blcmn/about ) when you click on "View in Google Maps" it only includes the city and state. Wouldn't it be far more helpful to include street address, city, state, and zip when you click on the "View in Google Maps" link? Is this something Logos developers can correct? Thanks! Scott

  • Re: fonts for SBL GNT

I already had the SBL Greek font, so I tried uninstalling the font from Windows XP, downloading, and reinstalling the font from the SBL site. It still doesn't work in Internet Explorer and Chrome, but it DOES work in Opera. (Weird!) Doesn't work on Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18702 Doesn't work on Chrome Version 27.0.1453.110 m Works on Opera 9.27 Does

  • Re: Google Chromebooks & Logos

What I would like is a better option for interlinear Bibles on Biblia.com. Now, it just displays the base text with no English translation, which is pretty much useless for an interlinear. It lieu of an interlinear, could you please at least model it as an INTRAlinear where the English translations follow the Greek or Hebrew in the text (perhaps in

  • fonts for SBL GNT

I'm having trouble viewing the SBL Greek New Testament in Biblia.com. There seems to be a font missing, so some of the symbols show up as squares. (See screenshot below.) I'm using Windows XP on that machine (still). It works fine on my Windows 7 machine, but I thought it might be a difference in fonts. Does anyone know what font I need to have installed

  • Re: Faithlife Study Bible Infographics problem

Mike, When I right-click and save the image, the resulting file is pixelated and looks terrible when I enlarge it. I've tried going to "Actual Size" in Logos 4 first, and then saving, but that does work either. The same thing happens when I export to PowerPoint. The resulting image is pixelated when I try to see the text in the image. The result is

  • Authorized Version vs King James Version in Logos

I see both the "Authorized Version" and the "King James Version" in the library. What's the difference between the two? One seems to contain the epistle dedicatory to King James and some slightly difference formatting, but is that the only difference? Thanks! Scott

Understanding these languages is an invaluable tool in the study of the

Wow! This is my new favorite feature! I was having trouble distinguishing the eta from eta with iota subscript in the Greek New Testament Insert. I used this to increase the font size in that window, and now it's easy to distinguish eta from eta with iota subscript. Thanks!

  • Re: How do I fix up of Greek quotes in Word docs so Logos will properly display in PBB files.

For the circumflex character, I think you want the left square bracket [. For example, left square bracket plus "v" in Greek Polytonic gives you an omega with a circumflex. ] + v To add the iota subscript, use the RIGHT ALT key. This only works with the right ALT key, not the left one. So right ALT key + left square bracket + v gives you an omega with
