I have been having issues with my laptop shutting down at inopportune times and last night I lost a note file - is there a way to force a save? Thanks.

Is there any way to keep the article from showing up first when mousing over a noun in the New Testament? (as in Matthew 7:23 - mouse over lawlessness and " ὁ" shows up in the popup and in the info window." As always - thank you all.

Just read about the perseus collection here in the forums and wondered how to order them. Thanks

How does one report typos in the information pane? Highlighting gives me the option of copy paste with no typo reporting option. I am in TDNT article on μακάριος footnote 45 - "has become 7 pius 1 in Mt. 5:5" should be 7 plus 1

I use notes nearly every day - all my sermon prep work is done in notes then It into word for printing out - I have notes for every Bible book and every sermon I have preached over the last 5 or so years. I use folders extensively to organize my notes (Thank you Mark Barnes) After a great deal of frustration with the slowness of notes in Logos 4 I finally

Thanks for the clarification Donnie. although i have been using computers for years (my first was a commodore 64) I am a user not a programmer. I now have the best hardware I can afford, and a new clean system, and still have the delay issue. I do not have this problem or anything similar with any other software including Adobe CS4. I was showing Logos
I'll change the program setting regarding using the internet while I'm working on my notes then change it back when I stop.
Tried this a few minutes ago and there is no change that I can see - note delay is still there and still sporadic.
one possible (ugly) fix would be a configuration setting that has the effect of making L4 not receive all the keystroke events. This would mean the user would have to do something explicit to get L4 to recognize that the user is done entering some segment of text (much like what the Enter key does when typing in a name for

I finally purchased a new laptop and still have a display delay when typing in notes. Everything else about Logos performance I have tried so far is acceptable on this machine but the annoying notes delay remains. The delay is sporadic and is there whether typing a ten word note in a new note file or typing words at the end of a 1250 word note in my
The problem is it doesn't have the major functionality that makes having Notes integrated into Logos so useful:
MJ and Rosie - both of you hit my major issue with Logos 4 - having all the great stuff including the ability to integrate all my sermon and exegetical work and then being stuck with sluggish and awkward
However, it is not the same as Logos, I only use it because I have to, if Logos had better notes, and the ability to add my own pdf books to it I would only use Logos.
Thanks Jim. This has been a big issue for me, and I wish Logos would address this as I would prefer to use one program. It cost enough

For those of you who do not use notes in Logos 4 (or do not use them extensively) what other program do you use? Why do you like it? How well does it integrate with Logos 4? Thanks

Mark, Your videos have made the transition to Logos 4 possible for me. Thank you so much for your efforts and the encouragement I have received. Rick Harrell

My major issue with Logos 4 is the delay in note display on the PC version (screen display lags behind typing sometimes a little and sometimes a lot) I use notes extensively and thought if the Mac version was faster then it might be worthwile to switch to a Mac for my next computer. I never use the homepage, typically have 5 or 6 Bibles open along with

I am deciding on a new computer purchase - Logos 4 performance on my windows machines has been my primary motivator (one issue being the typing delay in notes but there are many others) How does Logos 4 performance on a Macbook pro compare to performance on a windows machine The machines I am considering Macbook Pro 15" 2.66GHz Intel Core i7 4GB 1066MHz
