All this discussion about Logos 7... Maybe we should ask if there will be a Logos 7. Hey Faithlife, Will there be a Logos 7? Or is the direction to move toward a subscription based product that renders my desktop version obsolete and unsupported. I remember the years of no Mac support or improvement waiting on what became Logos 4. Now I sit curious

Fixed for me. Seems to work. Pretty snappy too! Even with a large document. Good job guys. Thanks Bradley and the Mac Dev Team.

Faithlifers (Logos Employees) Martin Potter helped to fix my most recent issue and Bradley Grainger responded and interacted even though he was on vacation. Thanks to both.

I am so looking forward to being able to sync personal books... pretty sure that will become an indispensible digital preaching and teaching tool.

Liam, I had the same problem. Application crashed every time I tried to build a personal book. It was a folder permissions issue with the Logos4 and the Logging folder. My user did not have permissions. I added my user and gave read/write permissions to the Logging folder and it solved my problem. I am on a Mac.
Saw in another thread that you had set permissions via Terminal. Did that fix your problem(s)?
Thanks for asking. The problem seemed to be that my user id was not added in the permissions of the Logging folder. When I added my id and set permissions to 755, it seemed to fix the logging crash and the PB build problem

Changed to 755. Logging folder did not add my user to permissions. System was owner. Continued to crash. I added my user ID to Logging folder and gave Read Write permissions and it created logs and let me build PBs. Thanks Martin. Any idea why my user was not added to Logging folder? Is that a 10.10.1 issue?
