Thanks.

Thanks Martin. I can set it in terminal. Is it 755 for everything in the subfolders as well?
I suspect the combination of a new product, a severe server outage, and a long holiday weekend have left many of us frustrated.
Thank you for your calmness and responses to all. I do not start a thread or make a post to start a Logos bashing thread. I just wanted a answer for greyed out personal books and crashes on
Jeffery, please for those of us who are trying to insure that every question receives an answer, multiple postings waste time. They don't increase visibility. If your post is not responded to after a few hours, bump it by responding to yourself - people often simply say "bump" to bring it back up to the top of the threads forums
Did you set the permissions on the relevant folders as instructed in https://community.logos.com/forums/p/96591/667251.aspx#667251 ?
I was told to set the L4 folder to 755 with no instruction about subfolders and then the description was 644 and not 755. My hopes are the same as yours. I need my software to work... I had to resort to "dead tree" editions this past week.

This is not a complaint... this is a concern and I am expressing my feeling. Logos 5 brought much more parity to the Mac with the Win version. I have been a Logos user since the beginning (LLS 1.1 in 1995) and have over $16,000 invested since L4. When I see questions like, "Are you on a Mac?' asked in the forums, I get really nervous about becoming

I am on Mac also. I have posted regarding this issue. All, even the PBs that are complied and that I can open, are greyed out in the PB Tool

Logos4 folder and all in it need to be 644 instead of 755???

What do the permissions need to be for the Logos4 folder and sub-folders?

L6 (6.0.1.0032) Crashes on startup with Diagnostic Logging enabled.
We would need diagnostic logs - start L6 with the Ctrl-key pressed, open the PB tool and build a book, after the crash collect the logs and post them as attachments (see http://wiki.logos.com/diagnostic_logging for details).
