That is disappointing to hear. Does touch work for highlighting and for the context menu? I was particularly hoping for active pen use for highlighting.
I can hold down my finger to bring up the context menu and it highlights the whole verse which can then be highlighted with shortcuts. The context menu is responsive

  • Touch Screen Support Still Missing

In regards to the Logos 8 Desktop app for Windows: The new look and feel has been modernized and appears great overall. However, I noticed the home screen and some other screens (i.e. program settings) still do not fully support touch screen input. Specifically lacking is touch scrolling. This was an oft requested feature in prior versions and in the

William, is your app still syncing (indicated by the rotating arrows in the upper right)? When moving to L8, we do have to re-sync your notes content down because of various significant internal format changes. This operation can take a while if you have a lot of existing notes

Most of my highlights are missing in my bibles. Is this due to the notes upgrade? How can I get them back?

A new feature I would like to see is making use of the Windows Desktop MRU List on the Logos startup shortcut to select recently used Saved Layouts. The image below shows how Microsoft Visual Studio makes use of the MRU feature to allow selection of the most recently used solutions so we can pick a solution to start with instead of having to first start

Sorry lost the quote for @Kiyah's post: Add the ability to set Logos to load a QuickStart layout at start-up. Right now you can only load a saved layout. I would like to open my Logos to the Lectionary Reading layout for today's reading. If I save the Lectionary Reading layout as a saved layout, it will open to the day of when I saved it.

Agreed. That feature would be great so that resources that are dynamic in nature (i.e. daily reading list/devotional) could stay current if desired or remain at last completed location depending on option for startup. This would be more of a feature that would be part of opening the resource or reading plan though rather than something tied to the layout

Hi Bob, Here is a thought for FL to consider for those who signup for FL Connect at any subscription level. Give a dollar for dollar credit for each month they are signed up for FL Connect to be used towards purchases to own such as new resources or feature set upgrades. It would basically be like paying in advance for purchases and building a credit

Hi Paul, I guess I was confused and used the price for upgrading the Collectors Edition base package to v7. The $2,500 is the dynamic price for that upgrade. My bad. Thanks for pointing that out. As far as the Extended Feature Set I'm seeing $879 instead and on sale for $679. I don't see the $799. Now we are closer to $740 for 3 years. Maybe someone

Hi Bob, Thank you for your full disclosure and forthrightness. That is much further and honest than most businesses would care to go with their customer base. I'm sure you're in a difficult place and this stings just as much for you as it does for your customers. Change is difficult. I would have to say that it's quite unfortunate that not enough customers

Hi Phil, Here are 3 areas I would like to see change in version 8. 1. As many others have already mentioned Touch support for the desktop application. • Home Page Does Not Scroll Using Touch Input

Using Logos 7.12 SR1 Desktop on Windows 10 tablet and laptop both with touch input screens. The reading panels scroll by swiping up or down but the home screen treats the touch input as if I'm selecting something. Is there a setting to turn on touch scrolling on all panels or is this an issue with the software?
