  • Re: How To Drag or Organize Tabs On A Mac L4 Window?

Joe, Thank you for the reply. However, on my MacBook Pro the behaviour is different. I cannot drag a tab to the left or right along the line of tabs. I can drag it above the line, but the location it will fall is uncertain until I release it (even then it sometimes creates a brand new panel). The blue box (which I agree is a nice feature, if it acted

  • Re: Reading Plan - Ability to Mark As Read

Amen, brother! I love my Logos iPhone App, but I alternate between the bound copy of my Bible and my iPod Touch for reading the Bible (it depends on where I am). When I spend time in the bound copy, I then need to go into my App, and scroll, scroll, scroll to indicate what I've read. Before those who use the Windows version weigh in, yes, I know you

  • A15 Hangs On Exit (So Did A14)

Am I the only one with this problem? The only way I can kill L4 is Force Quit. If this is known, sorry... the posts are not easy to search (or perhaps I don't get it). If there is a fix, I'd love to hear it. Regards, Steve

  • Reading Plan Synchronization Problems: iPhone to Windows

Hello, Initially my iPhone App seemed to be creating a new Bible Reading Plan every time I used it (I think it kept trying to create a new ESV version of the reading plan even though I set my Windows L4 reading plan to NASB95... but this is a wild guess). Tonight I got back onto our Windows machine (I'm a Mac guy, but L4 on Windows is the only way I

  • Re: Reading Plan Updates between Windows/iPhone App?

This problem (for anyone else who stumbled across this post) is a known problem that Logos is working on. For a little more information, see the following Forum post: See this post http://community.logos.com/forums/p/6107/50737.aspx#50737 . Steve

[quote user="Mike Aubrey"] [quote user="Steve Brannon"]I was out visiting and had some downtime. I pulled out my iPod Touch (32GB, latest OpSys) and started reading MacArthur's "Ashamed of the Gospel", which I had previously set to read offline, and I see the little airplane icon on top of the cover art in my Library. I had no connection, and yet ever

I downloaded version 1.2.1 this afternoon, and all appears to be working at this time. I don't know how Logos announces new versions or the enhancements, but somehow I keep missing them ;-) Thanks for everyone's help. Steve

  • Re: Reading Books Offline

OK, perhaps I'm naive, but I though "offline reading" meant that I could read the book without a wireless connection. Today I discovered that this assumption was wrong. I was out visiting and had some downtime. I pulled out my iPod Touch (32GB, latest OpSys) and started reading MacArthur's "Ashamed of the Gospel", which I had previously set to read

  • Re: PG crashed on me

I have something similar. I have a single window with a number of open resources, including a Passage Guide lookup. The number of resources is to the point where when L4-A9 displays long titles, I cannot reach those to tabs to the right. So, when it randomly shows the book-icons or the short-titles on the tabs, I try to get rid of resources I am no

  • Re: Reading Plan Synchronization Problems: iPhone to Windows

Today I noticed that my NASB95 Reading Plan appeared on my iPod Touch. Yay! Of course I still have seven ESV reading plans that I can't seem to delete (from my PC), but I will just ignore those for now ;-) Steve

  • Re: Upgraded to 1.2, Now No Books.

I do not add a posting here to heap coals on the heads of the Logos team, but rather to share my own experience in hopes that this assists with troubleshooting. Last night (11PM ET?) I could at least check my reading plan, and read the NASB95. No apparent problems. This morning, no reading plans (just the Christmas Specials topic). No books. I checked

  • Re: Repeated Crashes Shortly After Launch

My re-installation seems to have helped. So far I have downloaded one book and the app is stable. Perhaps the problem was caused by the number of books I downloaded (about five or six, including the NASB95)? If the problem occurs again, I will report back. Steve

  • Odd One: Scroll Down Button Does Not Work

I've been using the latest Alpha recently and this problem appeared rather suddenly this morning. I have restarted Logos 4, and the problem still exists. I will try restarting my machine, but just did not have an opportunity yet (too many work windows flowing and open). I have seven resources open in one panel (i.e., seven tabs). I have three of these

  • Theological Dictionary of the N.T. - How to use effectively?

Our pastor recommended the Theological Dictionary of the New Testament as a fantastic resource. I bought the One Volume version. So far, I like the resource for it's content, but I find it difficult to use. The TOC is in Greek. I can't figure out how to search it from an open resource. I can't figure out how to search it at all! When I want to look
