  • Re: LOGOS EMPLOYEE: Question About Classic Revelation

My concern is that the $50 option never went green on the product page, even though it was, and still is on the orders page. People who do not understand the process will automatically be drawn to the one that it says will likely make it ($160 in this case). This seems like a ploy to get more $160 bidders, and to push out the $50 bids. If it is green

  • LOGOS EMPLOYEE: Question About Classic Revelation

Is there any official word as to why the Classic Commentary set on Revelation is green on our orders page but red still on the product page? I think that this could be misleading to any new people wanting to get in. Some might go in for $50 if they realized that they could get it for that, but seeing $160 as the presumed price might be a turn off. I

  • Re: Has anyone else received an bad billing this week

I'm pretty sure that if they were in financial trouble they would not just indiscriminately start charging customers' cards. It does sound odd, and I think it is valid to ask if anyone has had a problem before, but I don't think it has anything to do with financial problems. It is probably a billing mix-up.

  • Classic Revelation shows green on Orders Page at $50

The Classic Commentaries set shows on my orders page as green at $50, but it is still projected at $160 on the product page?!? I am pretty sure that early yesterday it was still red on my orders page.

  • Re: Thank you Logos for March Madness!

Yes, if Logos had just had a 75% sale on NT Wright it would have been amazing. Add in everything else, even if we didn't find EVERYTHING that we wanted, and it was a pretty amazing sale. Thanks a lot Logos...for taking all of my money!?!

  • Re: March Madness: Get Wright

[quote user="Patrick Rietveld"] For some reason, the 30% discount doesn't work. It still says $40 in my shopping cart. The couponcode area is filled out, but doesn't make a difference. What to do? I mean the holy week special discount for Wright book about resurrection. Edit: Hm, I added another book to the list and then the discount worked. Probably

This is exactly what happened to me as well, so they need to take a look at it.

  • Re: Welcome to the Forums

I first started using Logos in August of 2007, shortly after starting seminary. With a 40% discount, I was able to get a lot of resources that I would not normally purchase. My resources include Logos Scholars' Gold, Theological Journal Bundle, The Ultimate Archaeology Collection, Anchor Bible Dictionary, BDAG/HALOT, WBC, NIV Application Commentary

  • Re: March Madness: What are you getting?

I got John Walton's OT Survey. He has a great grasp on Ancient Near Eastern thought. I am looking forward to Don Carson and NT Wright being on sale.

  • Disappointed in Witherington Madness

I was very excited to see Ben Witherington in March Madness, and I was prepared for a big mark down on some of his works, so when he ended in the 35% round of deals, I was ready to purchase them all for $157.95. Then I realized that the 6 works in March Madness are available in the Socio-Rhetorical Commentary Series collection, which includes those

  • Re: Talmud Linking

I would like to hear from Logos for sure whether or not this is something that will be slowly updated or not. I would think that major commentaries would be a candidate for keylink updating. It just seems like the usefulness of the Talmud drops considerably when I think that I will have to go to the separate resource to look for a reference, when the

  • Re: Talmud Linking

Goodness, this is really a problem. I thought that they had a way of somehow updating links when one purchased the resources. I took the following paragraph from the Talmud description wrong I guess: "Adding the Talmuds to Logos Bible Software will provide the opportunity to link more references than almost any other set of books we haven’t yet produced

  • Talmud Linking

I just purchased the Neusner Babylonian/Jerusalem Talmud. I also ordered the Mishnah. Once I downloaded the resources, I went to both Osborne's and Beale's commentaries on revelation to check the linking; however, for some reason the links for the Babylonian/Jersalem Talmud in both commentaries are still inactive. Is there something else that I need

  • Re: Splitting up commentary collections (Others do it)

Right, I'm just saying that if it requires negotiation on the part of Logos, say with Zondervan, that I would hope that they would push hard for that availability. For instance, I don't think that the NIV is available from Logos for ipad, but you can get it on ipad from other companies. I just hope for some aggressive negotiations! LOL.

  • Splitting up commentary collections (Others do it)

In the interest of taste, I will not mention the company, but one of the major mobile Bible software companies offers the volumes from the NICOT/NT and NIV Application Commentary series as individual purchases. I use my IPad often for reading, so that works well for me, but there should be no question as to where I purchase my books; I should be able
