[quote user="Gary O'Neal"]I never use the Gramcord databases -- there have been a number of problems reported with them. Is the syntax for doing Morph searches

I don't have the Cascadia Syntax Graphs but do have the Lexham Syntactic Greek New Testament. Can this search be done in that? It seems that the "Terminal Node" is not available to me. The Logos 4 help doesn't really help either... Also, I can get the Morph search to work as follows: (lemma:μετά BEFORE 3 WORDS @NG) OR (lemma:μετά BEFORE 3 WORDS @RG

  • Re: Personal books two computers not syncing

Hi Jim Currently PBB's don't synch :-( The workaround is to compile the PBB on both computers. If your PBB's are static (i.e. the content doesn't change much) then this is just an inconvenience. Regularly changing PBB content, however, becomes a bit unpleasant, especially if you use many computers. Andy

  • Re: Search Syntax Needed For All Occurences of Grk "Theos" without Definite Article

Be aware that these searches don't seem to take the Greek case into account. There is a difference between an anarthrous nominative and, say, a genitive without the article. If your booklet takes the view all anarthrous forms should be translated consistently, then it will be inaccurate because the Greek cases do have a bearing on this... " even though

  • Re: Linked commentaries & Bibles

I use the Tyndale, Pulpit, Epositor's and Barne's Notes, all of which are multi volume commentaries. All I do is, in Windows Logos 4, is set the Bible/Exegetical Guide and the Commentary's Link Set to A and then they all synch nicely. When I change verse to one that requires a different volume in the commentary set to open, it just happens. I don't

  • Linked commentaries & Bibles

In Logos 4 for Windows, if I link a multi-volume commentary to the open Bible, then it automatically switches to the correct volume when necessary. In Logos for IPad this doesn't seem to happen. When studying, it is not a big issue to change the book manually to the correct volume, but whilst in Bible study meetings, it's a bit of a nuisance. To help

Billy Most likely your Company firewall's policies have changed. I've not noticed any changes when using Logos at work or at home. It could be that your company has simply blocked the Logos sync server - you could ask your IT department... Andy

[quote user="Dean053"]I guess the problem with epub - at least for the foreseeable future - is that doesn't recognize Greek and Hebrew - I just tried downloading Charles' commentary on Revelation in Epub and the Greek doesn't display correctly. So it seems that this is only a viable option for work that don't have substantial non-English fonts in them

IF the resource is EPUB/Kindle/DOC/RTF then the option to convert them to docx and create a PBB is a possibility. I've done that using a program called calibre which will convert free Kindle and EPUB docs to rich text format. Often, the resulting Word document needs a fair bit of work - adding Headings etc - but generally I find the resulting PBB looks

[quote user="Melissa Snyder"] Andy ~ I recommend calling Customer Support for assistance so they can verify that you have all the files necessary for the Greek Audio NT to work. • Greek Audio New Testament - not working - 4.5 Beta 4

I cannot get this resource to work with the Beta. I'm using Windows XP SP3, Windows Media Player v11. My NA27 does not display the Reader and no audio is present. The highlight that shows which verses are being read does not appear. With the Westcott and Hort Greek Text, the Reader appear and audio is present, but it's incomprehensible gibberish and

I've no insight into the exact software development process that Logos are using, but it seems quite similar to the 'Agile' process we use at work, where we literally 'release' new software every 3 weeks. These releases don't always go to our customers (whose user acceptance testing cycle may not permit such regular releases) but internally, the sales
