I know this has been talked about a bit on the forums, but for me this is the No. 1 feature I would like to see added to the iPad app…

My Logos seems 'stuck' on: Logos Bible Software 6.0 SR-4 6.0.0.3778 I have tried entering Update Now in the command box and Logos replies 'No update available'

Thanks Dave That thread was where I got the syntax from :-) It would be nice to have some documentation... Andy

Hi Based on what I can find on the forums/wiki I can link Bibleworks to Logos using syntax such as: libronixdls:macro|name=TextKeyLink|text= |lang=el|scheme=beta|res="BDAG" This works fine. What I can't find is documentation for this syntax. If it's in the Logos 5 help I can't find it :-( Is this documented anywhere? Andy
We do let you choose when to download, but letting you choose what to download would quickly lead to pain for all of us.... The one exception might be 'which books' to download
I would like that. It seems redundant to, after having upgraded your base package, to have to download all the books and then hide the ones
I used to have the same complaints that you have articulated but since upgrading my computer with a SSD I hardly even notice that the machine is indexing and it starts very quickly. I'm giving this a try and it works really well. Not just for Logos, but I can even use my C++ programming environment with it. it works really well in conjunction with the Apple Wireless keyboard - something I wasn't able to get other tools of this sort to do when I last tried them. $80 a year is a little steep, but if I make a lot of use of this over

Save to Kindle? Yes - I'd like that.

Hi I am looking for a bit of assistance with Hebrew. I have a good grasp of Koine Greek but you could fit my Hebrew into a matchbox without removing the matches first! i have noticed in not a few places that expressions such as Lord God and Elohim (Ezekiel 39:1 and Gen 1:3 for example) lack the definite article. Yet the LXX translation of Gen 1:3 is

Hi Daniel i don't think there's any way to compile a PBB except through the Logos UI... i was in the same boat as you and decided, as my titles were related (the same publisher) to create a PBB containing all their titles Each individual book appears as a 'chapter' in the mega PBB and this works ok (for my purposes...) As a PBB can contain multiple

I'm happy with the upgrade - I just went to the package that seemed closest to the one I had and got, what I think, was a good upgrade + new resources, for a good price. One of my main study pc's is still XP, but it downloaded the new Logos5 resources making this a decent upgrade for the Logos 4 library as well. I first started using Logos just before
Andy, this article should help --> http://www.logos.com/support/logos4/windows/unable_to_connect
Hi Thanks - it helps, to a degree. With Logos 4 I always had to enter my Proxy Settings manually and this option is not available to the installer. I don't think the installer is correctly detecting the proxy but it doesn

Hi Does the Logos 5 installer recognise Windows proxy server settings? When I try to run it on my office computer I get an immediate message that it has been unable to download a file. There's no reason that the installer cannot read and utilize proxy server settings, so I'm wondering if it does, but uses a port that is blocked? Andy

Is the Sense Lexicon going to be available separately? When I hold my mouse over it in the Package comparison chart it implies it is for about £12 but I cant find it by searching for it as a product... Andy
The Smyth volume is highly recommended. It also proves useful for NT despite the fact that it is mainly geared to classical. Sometimes you will find things in Smyth you will not find (or not find easily) in NT grammars.
Another simple solution is to put posts by new posters into an 'awaiting moderation' bucket, hidden from other forum users until approved. If a new 'user' posts spam he gets banned by the moderator. A lot of blogs do this - posts are only accepted immediately from trusted users. BTW, a bot will make its post in a few milliseconds, far longer than a
Andy - Out of curiosity, did you redownload the resource & try? Also, did you try offline (when the resource was downloaded of course)?
Yes - to all questions :-) I have considered deleting and re-installing Logos, but I have not a few resources downloaded for reading when I am offline and it's a fuss to redownload

IF I have downloaded this book and then use the book's General Index to see what entries exist for various subjects, it has trouble when I tap on a link in the index. For example, if I go to the index entries for 'Worship' and select 855-886 it says '"Error loading book" or it does nothing. This only occurs if the book is downloaded. If I remove it
