  • Re: New American Commentary - Psalms Forthcoming?

I know this is an old thread, but I thought it might be good to add this link that explains the publishing plan. They basically state that the first volume of Psalms was supposed to come out in 2015 and the last volume in 2017, but based on the book now in pre-pub on Logos, the last volume is coming out before the first: http://www2.bhpublishinggroup

  • Re: iOS for iPad not completely sync in Sermon Editor

I am having the same issue. I started using sermonary.com but then thought it was a waste of money so I should use what I already have on hand in Logos. After completing my sermon I notice my iPad will not update. I've restarted devices and apps but nothing works. My iPhone is also not synced but different than what is showing up on my iPad. This is

  • Re: High CPU usage when Logos is just being idle

Hi Ross, I'm running it on the original SurfaceBook - but with maximum (for the time) specs - 16GB RAM, Intel i7-6600U CPU (and of course they all have SSDs - mine is 500GB) I find Logos generally runs quite well (other than the problem as noted above) - most of the time I use it plugged into an external monitor and keyboard while doing so, as I find

  • Re: High CPU usage when Logos is just being idle

I'm having a similar issue with CPU usage when I'm doing a Bible passage list. As you can see in the picture, I have closed all Logos windows except for the passage list, and Logos is still taking around 30% of my CPU to look up a passage. It will go down to 1-2% but every time I type in a passage (ie. 2Ki2) it goes up to 30% and my computer slows down

  • Making Community highlighting more useful

I generally enjoy seeing what other people have highlighted with the light gray underlining, but this week I ran into a passage in the New American Commentary where for 273 pages, the text from John 1:1 to the end of chapter 6 is completely underlined, which make the underlining annoying rather than helpful. I think Logos needs to set a limit on how

  • Custom Reading Plan Shared with Faithlife Group not appearing

Hi, I created a custom reading plan, from a passage list, and shared it with a faithlife group. (The group is https://faithlife.com/ppc-presentation/activity ). The reading shows that it is shared in Logos 6, but it is not appearing in the "group readings," unlike the "read the complete Bible in one year" plan I also created and shared from Logos 6

Is there any news on when a group reading plan will be available. I prefer to have the same ability of selecting the book of the Bible and the length of time. Thanks.

  • Promo Website should have more detailed features and FAQ

I find it perplexing that the Proclaim website has so few details about features and no FAQ. Why should someone have to wade through a forum to find answers to common questions like: For instance: 1. Minimum system requirements for MacOS & Windows - I realize it's browser-based, but even knowing which browsers (and which version of those browsers) have

  • Re: Wonder why choose Proclaim ?

The only person I know who uses L3 for presentation software is a verse-by-verse expositor, who blows up the text in Logos, and uses another program to be able to draw on top of the text. You could really do that with just about any Bible software, and it doesn't work for projecting song lyrics at all.

  • Re: Output Feeds ?'s

Given what I've read on this forum, it sounds as if Proclaim is designed for smaller churches with simple A/V needs, so multiple feeds will likely not be in the cards.

  • Re: PowerPoint and Keynote integration: what do you want?

It depends on how good Proclaim is for creating sermon slides. If proclaim has all the outline, chart/table-creation, animation features of a Powerpoint/Keynote program, then I would #1 might suffice, because the staff would just learn Proclaim instead of Powerpoint, and the only use for powerpoint would be when a guest comes with a pptx file. If proclaim

  • Re: From the guy in the back

I would add multiple-monitor support - with a different screen being shown to worship team than what is on the main projector, while there is also a control/edit screen for the back-of-the-room tech. That is one of the big selling features of ProPresenter in my view.

  • Re: No internet at Church....

Well, the next generation can hardly conceive of a device that is not connected to the internet, so I would tend to think that smaller churches are going to have internet in the main auditorium as soon as that generation becomes board members/deacons/presbetry members (whatever you call them). If a church has a phone line and electricity, it really
