  • Re: List Column - Active

Hi Fredc, The column I am referring to is the one to the right of the 'Filters' pane, the middle column if all three columns/panes are open. I agree, they should open in the same state as they were when they were last closed.

  • List Column - Active

Prior to version 8.3 the 'List' column in Notes was minimized and the full 'Edit' pane was open. Now every time I re-open Logos or change Layouts I need to minimize the 'List' column. I typically have three or four notes tabs open and it is a little annoying having to minimize them so often. Is this the future design or a bug that will be fixed with

  • Re: Removing highlights

Logos 7 did the same thing. With Logos 8 you can recover the deleted note by opening the notes tool and going to the Trash can on the bottom left of the screen. You will see the deleted note there and can "Undelete" it. The command is at the bottom right of the screen.

  • Re: Maintenance of 'Highlighting Pallettes'

Thank you Graham. I also have a few highlights that I am trying to find so I can delete them and then delete the style. I tried doing a search, but I am not able to find the highlights... What is the best way to search for a specific Highlighting style across all resources?

  • FYI - Resolved Issue with Copy and Paste in a Note

I upgraded to Logos 8 the middle of December and I was not able to Copy and Paste within notes. After some research it appears to have been caused by a corrupt 'Layout'. I had a 'Layout' with about 30 different tabs which I recreated a week ago and Copy and Paste has been working since then.

  • Maintenance of 'Highlighting Pallettes'

I have a few highlighting pallets that I personally added in Logos 7. One of these was setup to be resource specific. This pallet is not needed now with the way Logos 8 manages Highlights so I would like to delete them. I believe I need to move the 'Highlights' before I delete the pallet. Is this correct? How can I find these 'Highlights' and move them

Rosie Perera and Kevin Olson: Thank you for your suggestions, but I believe that is the way I have been doing it. It works OK, but when one of the commentaries has a different verse range than it resets the Bible and future commentary scrolls to that. For example, today I was looking at Acts 21:23-24 and the first Commentary was the Baker New Testament

  • Re: Best Way to Scroll Through Commentaries

SeeHisFace, Thank you. I have tried the Multiple Resource Feature and it does not seem to do what I want. It works well with one commentary linked, but I am not able to scroll through all the commentaries for the linked passage. When I try to scroll it changes to a different Bible version and I lose the commentary until I go back to the Bible that I

  • Best Way to Scroll Through Commentaries

What is the best way to scroll through the parallel commentaries for a given verse? I have used the Passage Guide, but it is tedious to click on each commentary and I frequently forget which ones I have viewed. I like using the arrow keys on the keypad, but then it tends to lose track of the specific verse or verses that I want to focus on. Please advise

Hi Alabama, I just restarted Logos and it seems to be working now. The sync is complete, the homepage is visible again, and indexing is at 23%. I hope and pray it is stable again.

I am having the same issue as Robert Stensland and Kelly Reid as stated in separate posts. Looking at these posts, I do not see that they have been resolved. My Main Page is blank, the sync arrows are continually spinning, and indexing stays at 0%. I let the indexer run for over 5 hours today and it stayed at 0%. I have rebooted several times, having
