I currently own the Scholar's Library and a few add-ins, but when I looked at the cost of upgrading to Logos 5, it seemed very expensive (I'm logged in, so I assume it's taking into account what I already own). However, when I went on to the website on another computer WITHOUT logging on (which doesn't have Logos on it), the purchase price was exactly

  • Logos cancelling shutdown

Recently, every time I try and shut down my computer, the first time I try I get a message saying "Logos cancelled the shutdown"; this morning I was keen to close down with Logos open, so it would restart with the same searches, but wouldn't let me. Is anyone else experiencing this?

  • Re: Bible Word Study wiki

Thanks; I'd forgotten there were apocryphal additions to Esther!

"Authority" - just following the example in the wiki.

  • Thompson's Chain Reference

I realise there have been several threads on this, but none recently. The Thompson's Chain Reference System is now available on at least two other software programmes - any possibility we might see it on Logos at some point?

  • Bible Word Study wiki

I've been trying to learn more of the functionality of Logos, and am working my way through the Bible Word Study wiki. In the "Septuagint Translation" translation ring, when I click on the centre of the ring, it only displays Bible references (i.e. no references from the Apocrypha); however, it says there are three references in Esther, but doesn't

  • Re: Copying multiple verses from a Bible search

Thanks - a couple of helpful suggestions there. I looked at Scriveners, and it looks to be a very useful tool, but I'm spending all my time getting used to Logos 4 at the moment, so should perhaps leave Scriveners for another time! Thanks again. Drew

  • Copying multiple verses from a Bible search

When I searched, I found lots of posts asking about this, with the suggestion that it was coming - has it? I searched for all occurrences of "salt" in the NKJV - 43 results. Is it possible to copy ALL these verses to paste into a Pages document? Drew

  • Re: Searching Personal Books

Sometimes I can be such an idiot! - no, I didn't look under "My Books", and of course the search results are there! Thanks. Drew

  • Searching Personal Books

My understanding of Personal Books was that books could be searched like any other resource. I have added a book, and decided to try this out. Knowing that there was a section on Zedekiah, I did a basic search using "All text", and searched in a tagged group of books (where I had added this book) - no results. I then opened the book, and searched again

Graham, Thanks - that answers the question! As usual, I searched for the wrong words when looking for the info! Drew

  • New resources

I searched for this topic in other forums (and the wiki), but generated an enormous number of results, so please excuse me if this has been asked (and answered) before! When switching on my laptop this morning, I got a message that resources were ready to be downloaded for Logos, and this has been successful (as the Software is now indexing). I presume

It's the 2011 Interlinear. That's a pity the interlinear is no longer included; and seems to be a retrograde step?

  • NIV Reverse Interlinear

I have been working my way thro' Mark Barnes' videos, and it refers to the NIV Reverse Interlinear. However, despite following the exact steps (I know he has the Windows version, and I am using Mac), I cannot find the button to take me to the RI (I am in Matthew 6). Having searched the other forums, it appears that there may or may not be an OT RI available

  • Re: When 1 is bigger than 1.

Thanks to all for your kind welcome - the reason my question is posted in this forum is because this one dealt with the density graph, and I couldn't find this dealt with elsewhere. I have previously been "told off" in other forums for posting a new thread, when my question had been dealt with in other threads. I've been checking out the wiki, and if

  • Re: When 1 is bigger than 1.

I have just purchased Logos 4, and this seems to be a very useful tool - but there's nothing about it in the help menu (well, not when I search for "density graph")! It has taken me some time searching the forums to get information about it. Am I missing this information elsewhere (and if so, am I missing lots of other information)?

I have very similar spec (Processor speed only 2.8), with Lion downloaded last week. Bought Logos 4 yesterday (Scholars Library) - quite slow, very jerky performance) - disappointed
