Stein, You have worked fast so I guess you got the general gist of how to install scripts. I give the following scripts without all the explanations. 1. A script to toggle the font size ... var objWindow = Application.ActiveWindow; if ( objWindow != null ) { if ( objWindow.Type == "resource" ) { var objView = objWindow.View; if ( objView && objView

Jef, The good news is that you can choose whatever font you like in Logos 3. However, it is not straightforward .... depending on your computer skills and determination. 1. You need to find the file ResourceSettings.lbxprf. Either use the search function or depending on your version of Windows it might be in the directory Users/YourName/AppData/Roaming

William, Logos has just released "Creation in 6 days" by James Jordan. You don't have to agree with every paragraph to get good value out of this book. Stephen Miller Sydney, Australia

Sherri, I don't where you are, but in the original shipped versions of Logos3 the various versions of the NIV cannot be unlocked in various countries (eg Australia where I am). Are you in one of the blocked countries? Stephen Miller Sydney, Australia

Floyd et al, I note that the NASB has just appeared on the Logos ftp site. Others might be in the same situation as I. Apparently I only ever had the NASB in Logos 2 format from years ago. Now I have the L3 version. Stephen Miller Sydney, Australia

Congratulations Bob! How does it feel to be married to Logos for 17 years?? Stephen Miller Sydney, Australia

I switched off UAC, restarted Windows 7 and the update ran through. Stephen Miller Sydney, Australia

I now remember a change I made recently .... When I installed Windows 7 .... when windows started my User Icon popped up on the screen. This meant that Windows wouldn't start until I had clicked the icon. Somehow I changed this so that Windows starts directly I switch on the computer. I guess this has affected the user rights in my Logos 4 folder. Stephen

George and Tony, I am one of the "other users". I have gone round and round with security access / user rights / adminstrator ..... I still can't get the update to get past the same hurdle as Tony. Stephen Miller Sydney, Australia

Valerie, I'm not fussy. Whichever you want to buy me is OK with me. Stephen Miller Sydney, Australia

Everyone has a preference for Greek fonts (and Hebrew). L4 / Options does not allow me to choose BibliaLS. However the command "Set Greek font to BibliaLS" sets up the font OK. Why isn't BibliaLS (and other Greek fonts) in the drop down option list? Stephen Miller Sydney, Australia

Thanks for the replies and comments. In L3 I set up as many keylink text types with different colours. Hebrew was brown, Greek green, Latin grey, Aramaic lt brown etc. In L4 there are some colours already coded and the look is good, if subdued. I am guessing the L4 philosophy is that we should not be fiddling with the colours as much as in L3. However

I know that L4 philosophy is "we do all the computer work" you just read what magically appears on the screen, and I know that us Geeks are being asked to sit back a little, but could L4 have several alternative skins? The skins would of course change all colours on the screen, and perhaps a few other things, so everything stills look OK. I would love

Benny, Are you sure you are actually using Serto Urhoy? I can only get Serto Jerusalem no matter what the Syriac font setting is. Stephen Miller

Many years ago I brought a floppy disk home from my local Christian bookstore, loaded the program into my computer and saw magic!! I was able to click on a Greek or Hebrew word and up came a Greek or Hebrew dictionary. Wow! The Exegetical Summary series is the next BIG step in the magic. When all the links are up and going, this will be the core of
