Agree that the Search results should include the functionality to increase the font size just like you can for a resource.
Me too :) It's on the TODO list, but unfortunately, this is much easier to implement on Windows than it is on Mac. Just like Panel Scaling, we're looking for the right way to do it to enable

Vito, Close any applications you don't need to free up as much memory as possible. Indexing needs about 1 GB of RAM while it's running. If you run low on free RAM while it's indexing it can really increase to indexing time.

As a troubleshooting step, I am currently in the process of installing L4 on my wife's macbook, which has the same configuration as mine. It successfully downloaded the 6+ GB initial resource
Now that I've played with it a bit, I see that the functionality is good for only some documents. For instance my notes I can export, but Journal Articles I can't. Is there going to be full functionality in all document types when this is a full release r is this due to copyright restrictions? Thanks, Jason
We
fuzzy font on windows 7 system also same problem.
If there is a problem with Windows font display, it's not the same issue as on the Mac. The Windows and Mac code use platform specific rendering technologies for the font rendering. We've discovered the cause of the issue on the Mac and it will be fixed in the next beta release

Chris, You're not. The performance tweaks made scrolling and refreshing resource display really fast. Martin did a really nice job on that code.

I too have been out of the forums for a few days. Actually trying to spend more time writing code and fixing bugs for the next alpha. We'll have to pick this up on Monday as I have to teach at church this weekend and spend a little time with the family. I'm definitely interested in getting this figured out.

  • Re: Alpha 10

We had a brief issue where A8 was uploaded instead of A10. Should be fixed now. If you got a bad build, you can either try to 1) autoupdate, 2) Use "Update now" from Command bar or 3) just get the latest disk image from www.logos.com/logos4mac Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Re: A9 Indexer running into trouble with reverse interlinears

Funny you should mention that. We were talking with one of the Windows devs who did a lot of reverse interlinear work and he said that the message is not really an error. It was initially there to detect problems in the new RVI resources. That error message has since been removed on Windows but it still shows up on Mac. It does not indicate a problem
Could we please have command + c copying implemented soon, though? I use that key command so often it is difficult when it does not work.
It shouldn't be too difficult to implement. I'll take a look at it tomorrow and see if we can squeeze it in for the next alpha.
