Thank you for providing users with clarification regarding the situation. It is very much appreciated. Will be curious to see if the updated app fixes the problem I am having of my highlights not syncing .

It appears that on both Android and Fire OS the Logos Bible app installs to a folder called com.logos.androidlogos. Can anyone help me with which specific folder/files contain my notes/highlights?
I just bought a Kindle Fire HD 8 (7th gen). I am running Fire OS 5.6.3.0
Not only is the new version of the app not compatible with Fire OS 5.6.3.0, it also appears to be incompatible with Fire OS 5.3.6.4. See here . This is a very unfortunate situation, and I hope Faithlife is able to work around it.

John, that is a good tip, and one that I plan on implementing. However, my question really had more to do with the availability of native integration of MobileEd content into the Passage Guide. A collection is certainly a reasonable temporary workaround, but there are now more than 500 MobileEd listings on the Logos website . I would think that is more

This release is apparently incompatible with Amazon Kindle Fire tablets from 2017? See here .

Update: My highlights that represent hours and hours of work are still trapped on my tablet and not syncing to Logos 8 on the desktop. When I saw the announcement that version 8.1.1 of the app had been released, I was really hoping that would correct the problem. In a bizarre twist, however, I am not being able to update the app. If I go to "Appstore

If I have a MobileEd course that specifically addresses a passage, such as BI162 commenting on Isaiah 7:14, NT331 being study on the book of Romans, etc., is there any place in the Passage Guide where the relevant portion of the MobileEd course appears? I am not readily seeing it under Media Resources, Media Collections, or anywhere else, but it seems

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the feedback. The answer was kind of what I figured, but I had just wanted to check. Revised 2014 edition it is!

I noticed this morning that bestcommentaries.com gives the 1987 edition of Fee's commentary on 1 Corinthians a score of 89.1 but gives the updated 2014 edition the much lower score of 74.7. Thoughts on the rating system used by that website aside, is the newer edition really that much worse? I currently have both editions of Fee's commentary in Logos

Update: I have not done anything at all since I posted my issue, but when I woke up this morning, all of the highlights I had made on my tablet for the NICOT Genesis volume appeared on my desktop. However, oddly enough the highlights I had made in other resources on my tablet are still missing in action on the desktop. Faithlife, if you read my post

I have a Kindle Fire 10 tablet (7th generation) running Fire OS version 5.3.6.4 with the Bible app version 8.0.8 installed. I have a considerable number of highlights (maybe a couple hundred?) made in several resources on it over the course of the last week or so that I cannot get to show up on my desktop, which is running Windows 10 Pro version 10

Update to my previous post. This morning before leaving for work I made a highlight on Logos 8 and the highlight showed up on my tablet. This suggests to me that highlights are syncing from desktop to mobile but not from mobile to desktop. Any help, Faithlife?
Just my 2 cents.
And a very helpful 2 cents at that! Thank you!
Please create a new thread.
Normally I would, but I have already posted my issue on a thread discussing notes not syncing where two Faithlife employees (Phil and Bradley) have already posted and that has 7 people currently following it. I am hoping Phil and/or Bradley are among those 7. [quote user="JT (alabama24
After seeing others had issues resolved by fully deleting the app and reinstalling, I decided to try it. It has fixed scrolling and synced my notes display.
I am glad you got your issue resolved, but that solution scares me. As I posted in another thread , I am having the opposite issue of my notes not syncing from

Looks like this edition actually has less material in it than the original - 816 vs 842 pages. Any idea what specific advances in the field are included in this update? I know it is a newer edition, but I could not tell from Amazon what exactly has been revised.

Quite a number of knowledgeable individuals on this thread! Are the video lectures on Hebrew by Van Pelt more thorough than those of Futato ? It was mentioned in another thread that HB101 "only covers less than half the content of the Grammar." I already have Futato's grammar in Logos but not Van Pelt's, and I am trying to decide if I want to use the
We had a server problem that was affecting Notes sync; the problem is now resolved.
Bradley, I don't know if I am having a different issue than the one you said was fixed, but I have a Kindle Fire 10 tablet (7th generation) running the Bible app (version 8.0.8) and highlights I make on it are not syncing

Can confirm that I have also noticed this being an issue lately. Samsung Note 5 and 2017 Kindle Fire tablet.

Daniel, Although none of the new changes you described were things that were on my wish list for the app, I am thankful that active development is being done, and I look forward to further improvements. Thank you for your hard work, and thank you Faithlife for allocating resources towards improving the app!
