Love the split screen. Really makes this app sing.

Ditto. Lack of NIV in Australia and on iPhone means that I cant really recommend this product to Anglican church goers since NIV is the core bible for ministers and students.

I really hope I can have the bible and a commentary open at the same time. Glad its happening

Apple just announced the iPad - I really hope you guys can tweak the iPhone App of Logos to work on that
-
I am hoping for a tool like the upgrade packages which lists ALL my resources and highlights those available to my iPhone. And maybe ETAs or expectations on other volumes.
I was wondering if anybody is running the Alpha 5 Release in a MacBook Air. How is the experience? Is it a good one or not? I'm about to install it in mine and see how it goes... Have a great day, everybody!!!
Please post your MBA specs and your experiences. I am getting an MBA next year (I need something lighter

Thanks Bob. 2010 looks like everything will be done which works for me. I'll continue to use 3 until it gets better

Works for me, but I am still using Libronix for any real study.

Mmm. My Mac logos Alpha is crashing now for the first time...
-
Download is saying I dont have permission. And I must be being thick, but I cant see that Update Now command option
-
It would be really nice if all the Logos 4 training videos were available as quicktime videos rather than youtube vids, so I can review them offline.
It should detect and download updates automatically; you can also go to: http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/LBS4MacInstaller/Logos4Mac.dmg
Ok, it did download a few gig last night when it was first running, so my guess is it pulled everything but I am short on time now and the search function does not work in the library
-
All indexed and downloaded. Took a while. Lots of functionality for Mac version clearly still not there like system preferences, program settings etc. But seems to be working. No update button...
-
All down on my Mac and now indexing. Looking good. Very happy to see its available for Mac even if it does say its an Alpha.
-
Ah, yeah, good call. Upgrade shows me Logos 4 packages with platnium! Using Safari if thats any help to you all.
-
This should be in your cache
-
So they take off the cost of any resources you have purchased already for the upgrade? Did this work fine? How much did they charge last time for the upgrades? Did they add a lot of new resources to each tier?

Thought. For Mac owners it occurs to me it would probably be easier to syncing to the Logos Bible iphone App the it would for PCs. So I wonder if the Mac 1.2.2 will provide these features before V4 actually manifests. An Apple App syncing with a Mac should in theory be a far easier thing to do.
