I am not the best computer / program user but as far

I have heard someone say that the history of christian mysticism is the history of christian neoplatonism, so that is why I thought that the book by Louth would be great to have because it starts for Plato. I don't know if its always true but atleast neoplatonism has had an effect on Augustine and Dionysius.

Hi Can I search Lane's arabic lexicon on IOS version by typing the three root radicals in to the page field? On my macbook I just change my font to arabic and type the three letters in to the page field in the upper left corner and it works. Can the syriac dictionaries be used this way on iPad?

Hi, thanks DMB!

Is syriac still messed up in the syriac grammars?
-
Hi Not sure if it is just me, but at least Lane's arabic lexicon and Lectures on the Comparative Grammar of the Semitic Languages have font problems. Lane has many problems, where the arabic text is on top of the english text, same thing appears to be in the Wright's book, plus as you can see there are some spacing problems in the Wright. I don't know

Hi Sorry for reviving an old post, but if I had Payne-Smith syriac dictionary, how would I search it ion mac? Thanks

Anyone with compendious syriac dictionary? :<

Hi Thanks for the tip, unfortunately the text I am studying is not in Peshitta. And I like it that while I am studying I can "test the dictionary", if I am not sure which radical is weak. Lemma tells it right away.

But yeah indeed it would be nice to get a lot more syriac from Gorgias.
