  • Select All / Clear All options

The passage guide properties list the different categories that can be queried for the passage studies. Two of these categories have sub-categories (collections and web resources). For these two list of sub-categories, there are options to clear all or select all. I would like to suggest having these two options available for the entire list of categories

Thanks, guys, somehow I had missed this. Blessings, Francis.

  • Payment plan interest

I am grateful that Logos offers a payment plan that makes it more feasible to purchase resources over a longer period of time. As I contemplated making purchases using the payment plan, I could not help but notice that the fees were steep, causing a significant increase in the overall price of the product. I wonder why that is. My question really is

  • Notes name in tooltip

A request for a (hopefully) easy to implement small change: I was wondering if the tooltip, when hovering over a note icon in the Bible text or elsewhere could show the name of the Annotation set (eg, Bible notes, Teaching notes or whatever the user calls them) instead of the current "Annotation" without indicating to which set it belongs?

  • Contents pane toggling capability for the notes

For anyone who has accumulated many notes, some lengthy, readability is a plus (just like a commentary). With that in mind, it would be nice to be able to toggle off the note file contents pane while reading. Blessings, Francis

  • Closing windows when they are stacked

I find it mighty convenient to close windows from Windows 7 taskbar (the close button appears in the peek view). It would be nice if Libronix had the ability to do the same with its stacked windows.

  • More than one instance of the browser windows

When looking for a topic with the topic browser, especially if searching the entire library, I would like to be able to launch another search at the same time.

  • Question about the forum: what are followers?

I noticed above posts that it said "this many replies" and "that many followers". What are followers? How does one indicate that they follow? I could not find a corresponding functionality, so I am probably missing something obvious. Please tell me. Blessings, Francis

  • Re: Wiersbe "Be" series and Scholar's library

Yes, I know the Bible Exposition Commentary has all the Be series for the NT. I just wished that the OT volumes that have come out since the Scholar's library was first released would be offered as a free update. It feels like owning half of a series, but not the other half. Moreover, as we all know, it is expensive to buy individual commentaries if

  • Stackable / Tilable special windows

Perhaps this has been suggested before and if so, I would add my wish to those who have already expressed the same: it would be useful if what I call special windows (eg, the topic browser, my library, etc) could be tiled and handled as resources or report windows. It would make it easier to resize them, reposition them and switch between these and

  • Re: Looking for a book on Prophecies in the OT fulfilled in NT?

Perhaps a different approach: you will find deeper and usually (not always) sounder analyses in commentaries that draw out the OT sources for the NT. Since Revelation is a prophetic book, it is no surprise that there is a cluster of these references to OT prophecies. Beale's commentary spends quite a bit of time on the topic. Blessings, Francis

  • Wiersbe "Be" series and Scholar's library

Question for the folks at Logos Bible Software: why can we get some of the volumes of the series but not all of them as part of the scholar's library? Blessings, Francis

  • Does anyone know a way to toggle visual markings on and off?

Although it is useful to mark the Bible text, it is visually distracting when one switches from study to just reading. Any ideas? Francis

  • More drag and drop capabilities

Among the many suggestions that define what still separate Libronix from being a great product to perfection, added drag and drop capabilities would be an asset. It is present in some aspects of the program (such as graphical queries or diagrams), but it would be handy in other places. For instance, dropping references from one verse list to another

  • Portable Libronix -- the competition is on!

Just about the same time we heard from the folks from Logos that they want our input on our interest in Libronix on the go, word went out about Glo Digital Bible. Anyone who looks at it can see a number of features that many of us long for: in-built portability to mobile devices (without paying extras!), audio Bible, social and interactive features

  • More special preset Bible reading plans

Greetings, Perhaps this has already been suggested before: as it is, the Bible reading plan feature is good. It would be even more useful to have access to some special presets that one may want to read through such as various harmonies of the gospels, a chronological Bible, etc. The question is how easily the harmonies/parallel passages files could

  • The mighty Jerkosaurus

Who knows what might have prompted me to post this at this time... must be a random occurrence (like the big bang) or just a plain mystery: Pr 16:21-24 The wise in heart will be called understanding, And sweetness of speech increases persuasiveness. Understanding is a fountain of life to one who has it, But the discipline of fools is folly. The heart

  • Re: Beyond the Valley of the Bible Geeks

I have used Thomas Nelson collections to introduce (successfully) lay folks from my congregation to Logos Bible Software. The Deluxe e-Bible and other similar collections have a nice round-up of basic reference resources they can use without Bible college or seminary proficiency in Bible study techniques and principles. The only drawback for some is

  • Forums and newsgroup readers -- a rejoinder?

I noticed that by subscribing to the specific forums, I can receive the new posts in my email program. I like it as an intermediate solution between web-based reading and newsgroups. Some people (like me) might not want to receive these posts in their email inbox though. This can be worked around by setting a rule in the email client to redirect posts

  • Export to verse list glitch?

This morning I ran into what seems to be a glitch. I searched the NASB95 for "My Father". The result was 49 occurrences in 25 articles. I wanted to eliminate verses that did not have to do with Jesus' relationship to His Father and clicked on "export to verse list". I was a bit surprised that there were not more hits. Out of curiosity, I ran a search
