JT: Below I have two screenshots which indicate a visual filter for both translations although I don't see the Exegetical Notes or Illustrations boxes anywhere (not on the search box either). 7444.LOGOS SCREENSHOT.docx

You are absolutely correct JT. The notes I created in the nasb, I wanted to be copied to the nkjv through the visual filter (see below). The issue as you know is that it did copy it into the nkjv through the "Notes and highlights corresponding", but it duplicated the notes sometimes even 4 times!

You are correct in what you said Kevin, although it is not the kjv but the nkjv (no biggie). i appreciate people getting on the wagon. Perhaps someone may be able to solve this puzzle.

Me: it was much easier with Logos 7 You: It is my understanding that this feature has not changed from L7 to L8. Me: Like I said, I don't know how to do it. By the way, I was just giving you an example of what I did. None of the translations remained linked for more than a few hours. So to cut it short, what you are saying is that I can't link the nasb

There are 3 round yellow icons that appear on verse 19 on the right hand side. They are exactly alike if one hovers over them.

I believe all my notes are chosen by "selection" (I have been highlighting a single verse or several verses at the same time before I make a personal note). These notes (over 26,000 of them) were originally meant to appear only on my nasb. After so many years of reading and studying out of one translation (the nasb), I decided to broaden my expectations

The screenshot below reveals that the open note on the left side is an exact copy of the other two on the right hand.

No, actually, they took the time to assist me by taking over my computer. My tech was very nice and took a long look at my issue, but after consulting with other associates, they made the decision that my problem doesn't have any reference to any other issues they have encountered so far, therefore, is not worth to take more time to look into it. At

Nope, it didn't work. I called helpdesk, but they have no idea why this happens. Their suggestion was to go to the forums and ask around.

Thank for the information. Perhaps you can help. I called Logos to help me with a problem I'm having but they couldn't help me. I tried to move all my notes and visual filters from the nasb to the nkjv. The problem I have is that my notes from my nasb are being copied 2, 3 into the njkv (instead of just one time). This is happening throughout my entire

  • Re: LINKING THE NASB WITH THE NKJV

I think I solved the problem. It had to do with my NASB visual filter. My other issue is how do I copy all my notes and highlights from one bible (nasb) to another (nkjv) without seeing double, triple or quadruple notes on the nkjv. What kind of filter has to be off?

I have right now on my screen a highlighted verse from the nkjv. I created a note on verse 5 from the nkjv, but the note only appears on my nasb, not on the nkjv. At the bottom of the note (on the nasb side), I read "corresponding annotation from the nkjv, yet all the links on the nkjv are off. I don't know how to take a screenshot. Sorry.

Thanks Kevin for responding. All the visual filters are unchecked yet I still have the issue I mentioned in my original post. As an example, I just created a new note on my esv for Jn 1:1, but it showed up on my nasb.

  • LINKING THE NASB WITH THE NKJV

Hi everyone: I have a couple of issues that are going to send your head spinning: I'm trying to switch from my preferred bible which is the nasb to the nkjv by transferring all my notes, highlights, etc. My nasb is loaded with over 4,000 notes, underlines, highlights, etc. My two issues are as follows: 1) When I try to create a new note on my nkjv,

Thanks, it works now. All I had to do was to go to my note file and cancel it. Once I closed the note, it didn't appear on my workflow. I appreciate your effort in trying to help me. Joseph

  • Re: PREFERRED BIBLE TRANSLATION

Thanks again. I have opted to do several workflows with the "Basic Bible Study" format. My study is based on Mark 14 which I'm doing in sections (14:1-11; 14:12-21, etc.). I have discovered that once I begin to type some of my findings, like for instance, "what seems to be confusing, surprising, challenging, or hard to understand", as soon as I type

I tried to disable the notes from the notes' panel, but when I added an additional entry inside the workflow, the yellow note immediately appeared on the right hand size of my workflow section again. Of course, this means that what I wrote was copied to my bible. So, when I make a new entry in my workflow, do I have to repeat the same process once again

  • Re: PREFERRED BIBLE TRANSLATION

I have been using Logos for quite a few years, but now that I have initiated a basic bible study on "workflow" with Mark 14:1-11, each of my notes appear all over the top of my chapter which is a nuisance because I'm trying to keep them within the workflow bible study only. When f I deleted the notes from my bible, the notes I made in my workflow disappeared
