Thanks to all involved in getting this work to the Verbum users! Tim

To Donald and all involved, Thank you for the updates and the RI for the Deuterocanon. Tim
Hi Tim, to download all the videos, you can to to the three vertical dots in the upper right hand corner to open up the resource menu, and then choose download all media. But my recommendation would be to watch them on YouTube. The video is smoother, so you shouldn't have any issues there, Pater Noster, and you also get
Who wrote that? https://www.logos.com/product/186392/acts-2-vols
Almost makes one think the page was compromised and changed to be that way. Then again maybe not!
The case in our bug tracker is to address this annoyance.
Thank you Bradley!

Thanks MJ, that tells me what i wanted to know. Tim

The questions are about Logos/Verbum prebuilt collections. 1. How does one go about looking inside these collections to see what to see what is in them? 2. Can they be edited? i.e. resources added to or resources removed from. 3. Where can you find these other than in search? Tim

I am seeing the same.
(You can't disable this except by running completely offline.)
Bradley, thanks for getting back to me. I do have a question for you though. Is there some way this can be hidden so that it does not make the library listing jump around when working in there or maybe move that to the bar to the top where
-
This may be due to updating Community Tags and Ratings. Even if your library hasn't changed, community tags and ratings have, and are being integrated into your library. You could try disabling them in Program Settings to see if that helps.
Bradley, I don't have Community Tags and Ratings turned on
Yeah, I knew that. Sorry, I didn't mean to contradict you. In responding to your post I was merely adding more info to my original. Not intending it to be a refutation of your experience or to imply that I thought you were critiquing me.
Rosie, I just did not want a misunderstanding. No need to apologize.
-
That's not what I meant, and I understand and agree with Rosie's main point.
I know that. I personally have found that it is not a good thing to assume anything anymore. Everyone knows how to pound keys on their keyboard or tap a screen. But that doesn't necessarily mean they know fully what they are doing when

Calm down JT, I'm not trying to pick a fight.
I know how to hide books and how to unhide them, and yet I didn't remember specifically having hidden that one. It's more of a reference book, and even when the author comes from a theological position that I find unhelpful (dispensationalism), I wouldn't generally hide a reference book by them. So it took thinking outside

Good post Rosie! Got my vote. Tim
In the case that you describe, the person <should> know about hidden books (because she hid a book!),
JT, I beg to differ just a bit with the above quote. Just because someone can hide a book does not necessarily mean they know where to find the book or how to unhide it. Years ago I was one of those people

I have to agree with Veli and Mattillo. It is a moving target and just like whack-a-mole. It does get really annoying when you are in the Library trying to do tagging and such.
Hmmm. As a test, what happens if you let it completely index, with all updates and everything, then close the program (bearing in mind that some updates trigger things that require indexing that only begins after restart), and then restart it shortly thereafter? If you do this a couple times in a row, does it eventually stop

I do see real problems with this. I think the better way to approach this would be to offer a drop down menu to select a country from. A quick instance that comes to mind are missionaries. Another is pastors temporarily relocating in another country for several months or more. I believe I have only scratched the surface here. Tim
So maybe it's a good thing there's no "dark mode" in the Web App?
Never gave that a thought. The world on "dark mode" for 30 minutes or more could be quite interesting.
