Thanks for the various suggestions, but I think my original wish list still stands. They are really all ease of use issues. Hidding resources is really time consuming and difficult vs. the simplicty of format for marking resources for downloading on the mobile app for example. Default commentary series again is another ease of user interface suggestion

  • Mobile App offline

I recently moved to Logos 4 because of syncronization between my various devices. There is much that is really good, but I'm struggling with some basic concepts. I have used Olive Tree for some time on my Mobile App so admittedly that is one of my reference points and their mobile app is really good but of course has much more limited resources available

  • Mobile app limitations

The mobile app has a lot of great things about it especially when you are online and not sure in general that there is anything better online. I purchased the Logos 4 because of cross platform access (although I did not know the significant limitation on offline usage) There are two major things that I find frustrating. No way to hide resources in online

  • Wishlist

I have just recently purchases Logos 4 after using another product for a long time. There are many things that I love about the product, and many of the tools are really great. Of course we always want more so here is my list of things I would like to see. By the way my perspective is of a non seminary trained teacher who uses it for personal study

  • Re: Wishlist

I can only find custom layouts that are tied to specific scriptures and resources. If there is a general custom layout I would be very interested but can't find anything. I have tired prioritzation and cannot find that collections are available as a resource to be proritized, maybe I'm missing something. Thanks for the point to the tutorials on hidding

  • Re: Downloading purchased materials - again

Yes, the main Logos product was downloadable from the cloud, but not additional purchased materials. I have already finished downloading and letting that material index.

  • Moravian Watchwords - new product

I would love to see integrating the Moravian Daily Watchword as a daily reading choice. I know they select them at least a year in advance. Millions all over the world are reading the same passages each day. I work with many in Germany in our mission and we are all reading the same passages each day. Some have tried to do some form of custom coding

  • Re: Feature Request: Bulk "Available Offline"

I agree 110%. The good news is that if you buy a package there are 100's of resources, and that is also the bad news. I would be great to use radio buttons to turn resources on and off (the airplane format in Mobile is not it since it requires going in and out of every single resource). Would also love to be able to turn off whole groups of resources

  • Re: Logos - Please invest more in the mobile apps

I agree that you have an impossible task keeping up with all the platforms. I moved from a competing desktop based product largely because of the perceived benefit that all platforms were synced, and I have bought a fair amount of content since moving. I did not get the mobile app because it was free but because I thought it would allow me to access

  • Re: Notes

Thanks for the info on sorting, not sure how I missed it. Very helpful. Each note is atached to a single subject (or perhaps keyword). Once attached it cannot be changed, and it can only be one thing. I'm assuming this is meant to help classify notes by subject or topic and aid in searching etc. For many notes, they may apply to more than one subject

  • Re: Search Function Desperately Needs Improvement

Yes, there is a work around, and that is better than none as Matt points out. I think the issue is that it is just more taps, and makes the whole process difficult. I don't know about others, but most of the time I'm doing a word search in the Bible that I have open. I would love to make that the default, and of course search other resources now and

  • Searching for passages in mobile app (iphone)

I must be missing something but in this newer version of the mobile app I'm having difficulty figuring out how to do a simple word search for example. It seems way less intuitive than the old version. Anyway when I do get it to search, the search give chapter and verse but not book so it is almost impossible to use when looking for a longer search list

  • Re: Lookup Capability in Offline Mode iPad2 Logos v3.0.2 (1396)

Limitations of the hardware cannot be the real reason since others have written fully functional bible apps for the same platform. I'm forced to use Olive Tree when traveling, which I do much of the time. Maybe there are limitations to putting a whole library on an iphone, but a method to download certain key resources like strongs, one or two sets

  • Logos 4 has stopped working

I just intalled Logos 4 yesterday on my laptop running Vista and on my desktop running Windows 7. On both machines sometimes when bringing the software up for the first time I get the message "Logos 4 has stopped working" and then if I bring it up a second time it seems to work. I have seen several similar posts, but no real solution. Is there a solution

  • Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

When I try to access articles from the Logos 4 homepage I generally get "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". The only exception is the notice that SR1 was installed. I have a feeling something is blocking the web site but not sure. Any clues?

  • Re: Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Turns out problem was with McAfee firewall net guard. It blocks unknown internet addresses so had to set the one related to this product to allow instead of block.

  • Syncronizing to iphone app?

I'm just moving to Logos from another product, partly because of the cross platform abilities. I just did an experiment with a note, which syncronized between my laptop and my desktop fine. But I don't see it syncronize to the iphone. Is that feature not supported in the iphone app? I have search the forums and can't find this subject mentioned. Thanks

  • Re: Logos - Please invest more in the mobile apps

Bob wrote "Yes, some people do buy the desktop software so they can use the books on the mobile device, but it's just a small fraction of our customers (and thus, of our revenue)." Just a quick comment. This statement suggests that the war may already be lost. With the explosion of mobile devices, if Logos is not a significant part of that market then
