I noticed that ‘A Marginal Jew’ set is on sale on the verbum site. This is a terrific resource. https://verbum.com/products/5748/a-marginal-jew-rethinking-the-historical-jesus

I had/have the paper version of Counselling Through Your Bible Handbook, it was pastorally very helpful which caused me to buy the June Hunt Library as the scope is so much larger.

I just noticed that in the New Interpreters Bible (commentary) is missing a digital break between Revelation and Jude. When you copy text it copies the citation as 'Jude'. Its a quick fix, that would be greatly appreciated once its done.

I just noticed that they are now on the prepub list when I was browsing bibles I don't own using the search. https://www.logos.com/products/search?Resource+Type=Bibles&unlocked=no On a side note there are some good English translations at $10USD
I'd like to see a somewhat different survey - one on what we need to move Logos into the general congregation.
Yes I agree with you totally MJ. Even when I reflect on how I use Logos outside of my study. 1) On my I phone I prefer to use e-sword to read the Bible, because it is quick, simple and easy to navigate to different

It looks like a great collection. The only trouble is it brings back memories of spiderman.
I would not trust this source
This is why a diverse library with many viewpoints is important, so we don't blindly accept the first thing we read, but research and engage with the topic at hand. I always appreciate your RC viewpoints on the forumns MJ, many of us protestants are ignorant of RC history and theology.

Here is a tiny little extract with the footnotes also attached. With the advent of the choir in the Christian church, singing was no longer done by all of God’s people but by clerical staff composed of trained singers. 5 This shift was partly due to the fact that heretical doctrines were spread through hymn singing. The clergy felt that if the

Pagan Christianity is a great little book in vyrso that would be an excellent steppingstone into some more scholarly works that would enable you to engage with your essay topic and church history. as the description of the book says: Have you ever wondered why we Christians do what we do for church every Sunday morning? Why do we “dress up”
Your comments have been very good and this whole discussion has been good. I would tend to say that Warfield's statement once defined evangelicalism. It no longer defines the movement and as others have pointed out, it is hard to define evangelicalism today. The movement has been set adrift trying to be inclusive and has set a worldly

I just noticed that on logos.com it now shows that I own "Tyndale" & "BST" so they must have fixed the issue.
Hi, I am curious to know how much is the cost of becoming a Pastor. I live in Toronto, Canada. Thanks
Bo its more about calling than training. In my own experience I was called by a local church 4 hours away from where i live with ZERO theological or ministry training. Once I was in the roll after a year, I then started

I am in the same boat too Sue. I have both Tyndale and BST but mine is the Old/Australian version so if I want to upgrade to a higher base package I will have to buy them again and have two copies in my library.

On several occasions I have searched a quote or phrase I have saved in a working document to double check it's context and have found whole paragraphs verbatim in 2 or 3 different books with no references. Academic plagiarism is more common that you think, modern tools make it easier to find.

There are some gems available now. Looking at some writing tasks I have ahead of me in the next few weeks I have found books like this one: https://ebooks.noet.com/products/80661/politics-in-the-hebrew-bible The challenge will be getting some of these onto Logos :)
I received the Craig Keener bundle today ( https://www.logos.com/product/54975/mobile-ed-craig-s-keener-interpreting-the-new-testament-bundle ). The course on Matthew is missing, both on my desktop and on my laptop. Is it coming soon?
Looks like it is temporarily unavailable
The price online should be the best price period.
I agree wholeheartedly!

MJ one of the things I enjoy about Logos is the diversity of resources I am able to have in my library. I enjoy internally dialoging with diverse and different viewpoints. In reflection some of my favorite theological resources both in logos and dead-tree are Roman Catholic, I enjoy these as they help me challenge what is it I believe, and why. You
